Questionable Material

I recently purchased the zebra version of this bench. I love the look and design of it. However, by no means does the material feel remotely close to cowhide (or calf hair). If I had to compare the feeling of the material to something, it would be that of an inexpensive, short-haired teddy bear. I feel duped and am seriously considering returning it.
