If for example you had wanted to set the alarm for 7:30 PM, you would flip the alarm switch to the "ON" position anytime before 7:30 PM, but after 7:30 AM. If you're primarily using the alarm for morning wake up, we recommend setting your alarm as you go to bed, turning the alarm off once you wake up the next morning and continuing the process each day.
