A: Hi Nelly, thank you for your question. To set the alarm, use the alarm setting knob that is located on the back of the clock. You'll notice that there are two knobs on the back of the clock; the alarm setting knob is to the left and the time setting knob is to the right. To set the alarm time, turn the alarm setting knob in a counterclockwise motion until the hand has reached your desired location on the clock dial. For example: to set the alarm at 6:30, position the alarm hand equally between the 6 & 7 on the clock dial. To set the alarm at 6:45, position the alarm hand 3/4 past the 6 on the dial. Once the alarm time has been set, located the alarm "ON"/"OFF" switch on the left side of the alarm setting knob. Move the alarm switch to the "ON" position by pushing the alarm switch to the left. The alarm will sound at the time which it has been set both in the AM and PM. If you do not wish your alarm to sound in the PM, simply push the alarm switch to the right in the "OFF" position after the AM alarm has sounded. If you would like to wake with the alarm the next AM, push the alarm switch back to the "ON" position before going to bed. A: Hi Jackie! To remove the battery terminal cover, push upward on the battery terminal cover's tab located at the bottom of the cover. While pushing upward on the tab, simultaneously lift the cover. The battery terminal cover has two smaller tabs located on the top side of the cover which are the final remaining parts keeping the cover intact. Once the battery terminal cover has been lifted sufficiently, the two smaller tabs will disconnect the battery terminal cover from the battery terminal compartment. To replace, simply insert the two smaller tabs into the top edge of the battery terminal compartment, then press down on the cover to secure the cover back onto the battery terminal compartment.
