Display dims after about 1.5 yrs of 24/7 use
I bought this May 26, 2024 so it is now two years later of owning this and having it be on 24/7. I've never used batteries, the alarm, or any of the sleep settings/nightlight settings, so I can't discuss if there's been any issues with those. After 2 years (I think this actually happened about 1 yr-1.5 yrs in but don't recall), the light up feature for the front numbers display is super dim compared to when it was first purchased. It's not a problem with the outlet and I doubt it is a problem with the cord, as the light on top and the color changing are still bright. I have double checked that I didn't accidently dim the display multiple times and nope, it is supposedly at its full brightness. I only use it for time-keeping so having the display be pretty darn dim after only 2 years is a bummer. I used to be able to read it across the room, now I can barely read it from 3 feet away. No sun damage would have occurred. I also think the time accuracy wasn't great because it felt like multiple times per year I was adjusting the minutes portion of the time anywhere from 1-3 minutes back to make it time accurate, so I think it may be slightly faster time accuracy than other clocks.

I got mine as a pick-up item, got it home and it looks like it had been returned- the taped seal was broken and it had no instructions. Most of the functions are self explanatory but I’m not sure how some of the features work. Would love to get a copy of the instructions……

Beware! Fire hazard!
I followed instructions to install the AAA batteries, which is the backup power for this device. First of all, the battery lid was almost impossible to open. We needed a tool to pry it open. Then, less than minutes after installation, I smelled a strong burning odor from the device, and IMMEDIATELY pulled out the batteries. They were burning HOT to the touch, and my partner dropped them just from how hot it was. I wanted buyers to be aware as one of the previous reviews also mentioned a burning smell. I wonder if they also had the batteries installed.

Great little alarm clock!
I bought this for my kindergartener to use on school mornings. It's easy to set up and easy for my child to use. It's the perfect size for a kid. I love that it is a plug-in clock, which means that if you use the night light function, you won't plow through batteries. I agree with other reviews that the alarm is a bit loud, but my child is a heavy sleeper, so it works for us. Otherwise, I would cover some of the speaker holes to muffle it some.

We got this for our tween so he could get up to an alarm for school. It worked well for a month but tonight he came out & asked where the fire was? My husband checked my son’s room & the “fire” smell was coming from this alarm clock. No smoke or flames but a very pungent odor. Not a relaxing way to fall asleep tonight.

This alarm clock seems to work well and has some fun and convenient features - dual alarm, nightlight, snooze, and battery backup, for example - but the sound of the alarm itself is atrocious. It's a loud and piercing, and the volume cannot be adjusted. For this reason alone, I will be returning it. Color-changing lights are fun and all, but the primary function of an alarm clock should have better adjustable options than this one does.

Small Alarm Clock
This is a very cute little alarm clock. I like the way you can tap on the top two turn on the night light. The alarm needs to be re-engineered, however. To turn it off, you must push a button on the side of the clock which is very awkward. As others have mentioned, the beeping alarm can be heard in another room. You cannot control the volume of the alarm. And, you can't turn off the alarm to be awakened by the light only. The beeping alarm sound is annoying. Chimes would be much better!
