Having trouble waking up. Our super loud alarm has volume up to 90 decibels to wake the soundest sleepers. The green LED display is soothing at night and the clock has a 9 minute snooze for a few extra winks. Electric powered with battery back up. The back up insures you will never miss a wake up even if there is a power outage. Back up uses 1AA volt battery. Simple setting controls and metallic speaker grill.

Q: how does the battery back-up work? I have an AA battery in it but if I unplug it, it does not continue to run.

A: The battery back up will only hold the time setting. There is not enough power in the battery to light the green display.

A: The instruction say the time and the alarm will remain set and the alarm will go off as set. But, the time will not show on the clock face to save the battery. The time will show again once it is connected to electricity

A: The alarm remains set at the time it was set at, all you need to do is turn the alarm on and off once it is set.

Thank you for reaching out. To indicate AM when setting the alarm on our model 88141, follow these instructions:
PM Indicator Light: The clock uses a PM indicator light to distinguish between AM and PM.
AM Setting: When the PM indicator light is off, the time shown on the display is AM.
Setting Process: While pressing and holding the ALARM set button, press the HOUR and MINUTES buttons as needed to reach your desired wake-up time. Ensure the PM indicator light is not illuminated if you want an AM alarm.

Deafly quiet
I do like the fact that this alarm will not stop until you hit the snooze button, but the box clearly says “super loud” my ceiling fan is louder than this thing. Obviously yes it’s an affordable alarm clock but please don’t advertise this as “super loud” if even my fridge is louder than the clock.

Not too big, not too small, just right and the green lighting is a go.
I love the green numbers, very calming and does not wake you by looking at it. It is soooo easy to set up, the sound of the alarm is whimsical as oppossed to annoying. The smaller size is perfect, not too big and not too small. I have only had it for two days and received it after the DST so I will hope it keeps me happy.
