A: It does not count up after the timer is done. Although it can be programmed to count up or down.

Disappointing; incorrect product description
Timer is so quiet it is hard to hear if anything is going on (I have normal hearing). Product description states, "Timer mounts with a clip, magnet, or stand..." There is NO clip, which is why I bought it. There is a stand, and I give it points for strong magnets. However, the second time I used it, the front face simply fell off for no reason I could see. Not enough super glue I guess. Returning this. Disappointed in Taylor this time.

one tiny but crucial issue
It's easy to use; it works well... but the alarm/beep is so low for the environment I use it in, it's practically worthless (since it's so difficult to hear). Only get this timer if you work in a library-quiet kitchen and you are planning to sit right next to it when it goes off.
