Q: Can it be used as a candy thermometer?
A: This is not recommended for candy. Note - This is an instant read thermometer (not a leave-in) with a short stem and max temp of 392F. If you need a candy thermometer, we recommended using an actual candy thermometer which Taylor does sell on target.com (search 070-05-3600)

A: This convenient, foldable thermometer takes about 15 to 20 seconds to get to a stable temperature reading.

Q: I have a brand new Taylor meat digital thermometer and it will not turn on do I need to put batteries in it and if so where
