No more guessing whether the meat is cooked at the right temperature
No more guessing whether the meat is cooked at the right temperature. The Taylor Kitchen Programmable Cooking Thermometer. Was easy to set up and use, can be used for all kinds of meat and instructions give you the proper temps it should be at. Program the meat temperature you would like, set the timer , place on counter and insert probe before putting in oven. Beeping alarm which was loud enough for me to hear from another room will sound when done. I will be using this quite often.

Great but loud
This thermometer is easy to use right out of the package. It seems to give an accurate reading very quickly. My issue with it is the sound. It is incredibly loud. So much so that it startled me when I used it the first time and my husband jumped up from the other room. As well as the dog! Not sure why it has to be so loud!

Great addition to my cooking routine
This programable is pretty neat. I have issues with knowing when my meat is completely done cooking and this thermometer has been a great addition to my kitchen. It has some great features that help me know the perfect time and temperature to cook my meat. There is a timer option as well as an option to set the temperature on the backlit display. It has a prob that you can stick in the meat while it is cooking and then an alarm sounds when your food reaches the set temp. It also has magnets on the back to attach the unit to the stove or a netal surface and it has the option to read temps in °F or °C.

Not just a thermometer.
The Taylor programmable thermometer has several uses. I have used this as a timer as well. But the programming is easy to do. It has Ferinhighte and Celsius reading capabilities. The probe is 6 inches long with a coated wire to be able to withstand high heat and not having to open the oven door to get your temperature reading. Please do read instructions as to not cause damage to the prob or your oven. When your food is at the desired temp programmed it makes a very loud beeping sound.

Not great
This is a BullsEye review. I try to give credit when it is deserved, but I would stay away from this product. I was excited to try out this electronic cooking thermometer, but was quickly let down because it is not accurate. I fired up the grill to cook bratwurst, and this thermometer said internal temperature was at 200° F. I checked with a different thermometer that is known to be accurate, and it read 170°. I know there would be some difference, but 30° is too much for me and I can't trust it for food. I did give it a couple of stars for being easy to use and it uses easy to find AAA batteries (included), but I won't be using this thermometer again.

Nice digital thermometer
Very nice digital meat thermometer. We used it for the first time with a pork roast the other night and it was very helpful to know when the roast was at safe temperature. This product is very easy to use and pretty much dummy proof.

Nice thermometer!
I just got the Taylor Kitchen Programmable Cooking Thermometer with Wired Probe and really liked using when grilled. The thermometer is easy to see and gives me a fast and accurate temperature when cooking.

wish it was cordless
While the thermometer works, I wish it had more advanced features that would provide a much better experience. The biggest thing about this is that its corded, which means you have to have the unit outside your oven while having a cord stick out of your oven door. Hard to explain, but my photo shows it. It would be great if it was cordless so I wouldn't have to make it look like a jerryrigged approach.

Cooking thermometer
This cooking thermometer is a few steps above other thermometers that I have used before. This thermometer allows you to preset the recommended cooking temperature and cooking time and makes cooking and grilling meats a lot easier! It comes with batteries and also had a magnet on the back, so it can stick on top of the oven while you’re cooking. There’s also two modes of temperature- Celsius and Fahrenheit. Overall, great and helpful kitchen gadget that is easy to use.

Great thermometer
This is a great quality programmable thermometer. It works for indoor and outdoor cooking. I love being able to check the temperature of my food without opening the oven door. You set the temperature you would like the food to come to and alarm goes off when that temp of reached. Very easy to use!

So helpful!
I love that it is magnetic and I can stick it to my oven to monitor cooking. The cord is plenty long to reach to the middle of the oven. If you hesitate to cook meat because you aren't sure when it is done, this thing is awesome!

A compact nice thermometer that does what it is supposed too.
This size is easy to hold in hand or with the tilting screen you can set it on the counter. Magnets on the back that hold it to the fridge or where ever you need to keep it. To be honest, this thing is way more sturdy then I thought it would be. The alarm on it is really really loud too, so be warned of that. It will make ya jump of you aren't ready for it.
