This thermometer is so great, I love that it’s a dual purpose thermometer with a non-contact surface and meat thermometer. It’s very accurate, I tried it against another one and it came out with the same reading. It makes cooking so much easier too.

Great quality and sleek design. You do need to remove the plastic behind the batteries for it to turn on, that had me confused for a while. But once I got it working, I loved it! It has a large LED display and I love that it’s not super bulky. The tip is sharp so you do have to be careful when taking it out

Dual digital folding food thermometer. This is a great little food thermometer. You can use either digital or the probe. I feel like this is pretty accurate compared to the more expensive and fancy ones. Really enjoy it!

This is a good thermometer for basic functions. It turns off when you close it, and seems to read the temp accurately. Easy to clean, and it also folds for storage. Overall, it seems to be working well and we are happy with it.

The Taylor dual folding probe & infrared thermometer is very easy to use. The 2 clear plastic tabs inside the battery door to prevent battery drain must be removed before the initial first use. Make sure that the batteries are completely flat in their compartments before replacing the battery cover. The food thermometer has 2 modes standard and infrared. With the standard mode the probe is inserted in the food. With the infrared mode the sensor at the end is aimed at the cooking surface while pressing the SCAN button.

I don’t personally cook a lot of meat, but my parents definitely do. They have loved the convenience and reliability of this digital thermometer. They enjoy the Taylor brand and are very pleased with this device.

The infrared surface thermometer works better than the probe part. It’s accurate and quick to detect a temperature. I can never get the probe to find an accurate temperature. It increases and decreases constantly so I never feel confident that my meat is to temp. The light also goes out too quickly so it is hard to see the display. To turn it on after opening you need to open the battery compartment and remove the plastic strip, then it should turn on when you open the probe or aim it at a surface.

This thermometer is great! My husband swears by meat thermometers when grilling, and honestly, everything is cooked to perfection every time. This thermometer is awesome, not just because it can test meat temps well, but also because it has a sensor feature. This is great for items such as our griddle, which gets very hot and usually unevenly so. This is good for us to check our griddle over different burners on the stovetop, since the part of the griddle that sits over the back burner always gets significantly hotter than the part sitting over the front burner.
