Invoice number 60133991054966712. I received an OXO digital thermometer and some tongs today. The CR2032 battery in the thermometer was dead. It lit up when I pulled the clear tab but never lit up again. I replaced the battery with a CR2025 which is the only battery I had. I tried to use fix and issue online and every time it would only allow me to reference the tongs. The digital thermometer was always grayed out. I tried multiple times.

Reliable
This is super helpful and a must have in my medicine cabinet. This year my 2-year old son had a pretty bad fever and this thermometer came in handy when I needed to stay on the temp!! Also good for a baby shower gift 🎁

Inaccurate and fragile thermometer
Not waterproof or sauceproof. Battery doesn't last long, easily clicks in chef's coat. Doesn't handle liquids or high heat well. Difficulty reading temps sauces or steam.

Very accurate and fast read
This little thermometer is a game changer in the kitchen. It's been helping me cook my meats to perfection. No more dry, overcooked pork chops! I find it very accurate, I've even tested it out with another thermometer, and it reads super fast. I like how it's digital which makes it so easy to use. It conveniently stores in a little plastic holder, which I find so handy because it's printed with important meat temperatures. It was a little pricey as far as thermometers go, but I'm so happy with this purchase!

Excellent Value, Accurate readings
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had some great food temperature thermometers for cooking in the past and none of them were this great. Oxo’s Chef’s Digital instant read thermometer is really cool and has helped so much with knowing when the food is at the right temperature. The thermometer has a pivoting head with LCD screen that has easy to read numbers and a probe with a thin tip for accurate readings. First thing I tested this out on were on some grilled steaks and I was amazed at how instant this thing read. The probe cover has conversions for Fahrenheit to Celsius for quick referencing which was helpful in determining accurate readings. The thermometer is definitely great value for your money and would be great for a shower gift and perfect to have handy for the holidays or even for professional use. The probe is stainless steel and easy to clean and stores snug in the included sleeve. Highly Recommended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great digital thermometer, my fiancé busted my last one by leaving it outside so I was in need of something new. I’ve always loved the OXO brand so I gave this one a try, the display is large and easy to read and I’m easily able to turn it on and off after use. I like that the display swivels back on it as well, I’m able to poke a food and read it without feeling like I’m tiptoeing to see it. Another thing I really appreciate is the meat temps being on the case, I feel like I’m ALWAYS looking up proper temps and this just cuts that out completely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this thermometer it is compact while still having a great size display. It works quickly which is another bonus in my busy kitchen. I also love that the probe cover has the appropriate meat temperature. There are way too many these days for me to remember so a quick scan at the cover gives me the correct temperature while I am cooking. The probe also has a great tip so it easily slides into my meat without leaving a huge hole to let out all of the juices I worked so hard to contain.
