A: Here's some tips about the scale. For best accuracy, calibrate scale. Place your scale on a hard, flat surface, do not use on uneven tile, flooring or carpeting. Try to keep your scale in the same location or position as much as possible. Step on the scale with one foot applying enough pressure to turn the scale on - then remove your foot. The digital readout should show dashes or zeros. The scale will automatically turn off. Now your scale is ready for you to take a weight reading. Step on the scale evenly with both feet. Place your feet in the same position every time you weigh yourself. If you pick up, move or bump your scale, please repeat the steps above for best accuracy. Stand still during measurement. Clothes can vary in weight. For the most consistent readings, weigh yourself at the same time of day. Allow for weight fluctuations due to food or drink in your system. I have had this for 4 years. I actually came here checking to see if I could get a second one. I was surprised at the negative reviews. my scale has always been used on level tile and has only been inaccurate various times like when I was trying to hold my dog to weigh her. Anyways, it's worth the $20 if you need a scale to sit in the corner of your bathroom. Not sure what the other people are doing with it. 🤣

I was so upset when this scale read my weight as 150 lbs. for months I did not understand as I have not ever been this weight but i also had a baby - 2 yrs ago?! Don't Waste Your Time
Just terrible. It worked fine until I very gently moved it to clean the floor. Gently moved it back, and it worked for a couple of days…until it started indicating weights of about 50-100 pounds higher than actuality. A product’s lifespan being measured in days/weeks? Complete garbage, which has already been returned. Ordered an analog scale made by a different company.

Different experience
I had this scale for 4 years I only recently lost it because my apartment flooded and the scale got wet. But it was pretty accurate always never broke and I didn’t have any real issues with it. And it’s also stylish and matched my bathroom.
