A: Please step on the scale to turn it on and then step off. The unit should register 0.00 on the scale. If there is an issue, please try resetting the scale by removing the batteries for at least 10 seconds. Make sure the scale is placed on a hard, flat surface (not a carpet or rug).

A: If you wish to share the scale with multiple users, you have a few options: 1. Scale is shared by different users (with different VeSync accounts): Users can create separate accounts to log into the VeSync app and pair the scale to their phones. Each user just needs to make sure other users' phone Bluetooth has been turned off before standing on the scale. This is only required when other user's phone is around the scale when weighing. In this case, each user's weight data will be private and can be synced to their third-party apps like Apple Health and Fitbit. 2. Scale is shared by different users (with the same VeSync account): The main user can add other users of the scale under his account, and all users can log in to the same account on their mobile phones. To ensure the data is synced to the correct user, each member needs to switch to his profile by clicking the profile icon below the data graph before weighing. For this option, only the main user's data can be synced to third-party apps like Apple Health and Fitbit.

A: We do not recommend storing the unit vertically as this may damage the unit. lease keep the scale in a cool area with low humidity and the scale in a horizontal position.

Incorrect weight
This scale stopped providing actual weight after about 6 months. I replaced the battery hoping that was causing the issue but it didn’t. It’s usually off by 10 lbs at all times now so pretty useless.

Works if you want to lie about your weight
30lb difference despite zeroing out. If you want to lie about your weight get this scale…returning immediately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Etekcity scale does what it is supposed to....it weighs you. The numbers are very easy to read. There is a button on the back if you want to change "weigh unit". My weight look much better in KGs then it does LBs. I didn't look up what the unit of "ST" means, but you have that option too. The scale is not large and bulky. There is an app that you can download, but I didn't. I didn't need/want to sign up or log in to another "thing" that keeps trap of my weight. The app probably does lots of great things if you want to use it. I wasn't overly thrilled with the fact it was clear, but that is just a personal thing. Overall, I'm very happy with the scale.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always wanted something to keep track if my weight and progress and with the connectivity to an app, I can see all that. I like the design and how easy to set up via Bluetooth. It's easy to store because it is fairly compact and thin. It can weigh up to 400 lbs even though I'm not even close to that. Also the app has lots of things you can add like trackers. You can input your measurements and everything is stored. It gives great suggestions to on healthier habits.
