Beautifully styled with precision technology is featured with the Taylor 7549 Glass Digital Scale. Q: Can this scale be stored on it's side? I have a very small bathroom, so there isn't room to store it flat.

A:Â It is not preferred to be stored upright. If it is, it would be best before each weigh-in to recalibrate it for accuracy. Place your scale on a hard, flat surface. Before taking your first weight, calibrate your scale by stepping on your scale until it turns on, then step off. The scale will automatically turn off. Your scale is ready for use.

Q: Does this scale have to be calibrated before use? Or do I just put the batteries in and can begin to use it ?

A:Â Although calibrated during production, the scale needs to be 'reset' to calibration when it is initially used or moved. Place your scale on a hard, flat surface. Try to keep your scale in the same location and position and much as possible. Before taking your first weight, calibrate your scale by stepping on your scale until it turns on, then step off. The scale will automatically turn off. Your scale is ready for use.

I purchased this in Aug 2023, and now it does not work. I changed batteries and nothing. I’m not sure why it no longer works as it’s not broken or have been moved from its location. Disappointing. Don’t waste your money.

What I like is the Convenience. The Box was Opened and the battery were already in the Scale. It Works! But not Sure why the Boxed was Opened. I think it was a Return-I hope is does not Stop Working. TRY TO BUY ONE THAT COME IN A SEAL BOX.

Not accurate. Will get stuck on one weight until it resets itself no matter how many times you step off and back on, then will give you an entirely new weight once it’s reset. Waste of money.

I picked up this scale the day before a doctor's appointment where they weighed me. It seems very accurate, but if it's on carpeting, it's totally inacurrate. Since picking this up, I bought a 12 in. x 12 in. x 1/4 in. Thick Acrylic White Translucent to place on the carpet under the scale. That worked. You could also buy a cutting board to place under it, or even a board, but the opaque piece of acrylic looks good.

Weight fluctuates by up to 10 lbs. Tried to calibrate it, no luck. Can't return it as I no longer have the box. This scale is totally useless.
