Easy to use
I used to have a salad spinner that you manually had to turn and would often need me to recenter the lid as it would stop spinning. This salad spinner doesn’t do that and it’s so easy to use! I would recommend this for anyone that is looking for a salad spinner

I love this salad spinner. Not only is it great for lettuce, I also use it to get the excess water off of my other produce before I put it in the fridge: grapes, blueberries, strawberries! It really works.

Great salad spinner.
I love this salad spinner. It’s very easy to use. I rinse the lettuce in the colander part and easily dump out the water. Then place it back into the bowl and spin dry. It works easily as a bowl as well. I like that the top clips down so that it is easier to store. Great product.

More than dry lettuce !
This spinner is not only great for drying lettuce and berries. I have found it to be step one after grating my potatoes when making potatoe pancakes. I still need to squeeze more water out of potatoes for really crispy pancakes, but saves me alot of cleanup from squeezing them in muliple towels. I try to find more than one use for tools Also good at the beach or pool to put the kids soaked suits in. A few spins when kiddos are toweled up and then good to get up and go get something to eat.

If I were picking a salad spinner for regular kitchen use, I’d feel confident using the OXO 4.0. It feels well made, does the job well, and has smart design touches (brake, non-slip base, easy cleaning). For me, the trade-offs (size, plastic wear over time) are acceptable given the performance gains. It makes prepping greens feel less like a chore and more efficient.

This salad spinner is very durable. It will hold a good amount of lettuce to clean. Nice feature to stop the spinner and lick it as well. I’ve used mine to clean my blueberries and strawberries as well. Clean easily. All negative is if you limited with storage is it is a larger spinner.

Cannot clean spinning mechanism
Impossible to clean the crevices in spinning mechanism. Broke the spinner trying to put the mechanism back together after the spinners first deep clean.

Works great, lid can be annoying to clean
This does get your salad nice and dry, and I like that you can use the bowl as the salad bowl if you’d like. One star off because the lid can be difficult to clean. You can’t dishwash that part, and if you do, parts take so long to dry mold is highly likely. My sister has one and after about a month her kid got moldy even when very careful handling and washing. Mine has stayed mold free but it’s obnoxious having it sit on my counter for multiple days waiting for it to dry so I can put it in my cabinet.

Great Salad Spinner
I didn’t think I could get excited about a salad spinner, but now I am. We had a cheaper one that broke after a few months, so we switched to the OXO because of the great reviews and it lives up to the hype! It’s super easy to use, spins lettuce in seconds with no mushy or mushy ends, and even washes berries and grapes. It feels sturdy, easy to clean, and the design is super smart. Totally worth the money because salad prep has never been easier.

I’ve had this for a couple years so it does last a while. I love it for leafy greens and blueberries. I never use it for other fruits it would be too harsh. It’s easy to clean, and it’s light weight.
