A: Hello, The ThermoPro TP25 Bluetooth Meat Thermometer Digital Cooking Food Thermometer does not require all probes to be active for proper use. You can use any amount or combination of probes and the device will work as intended.

Q: Can I leave the probe in a turkey while submerged in hot oil (deep fryer)?

A: Hello, Unfortunately, the probe of this device cannot be completely submerged in liquid or oil. This would be possible if you were able to set up the probe in a manner where only the half of the probe with the tip was inserted or submerged.

It works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Summer is just around the corner and with that, grilling and smoking! This meat thermometer will be put to the test as soon as the weather is nice enough to roll the grill out. Although, it looks a bit complex with 4 different probes, I think it will be super useful when we have multiple things cooking at the same time! I’m also excited to have the Bluetooth connection which will come in handy when no one can be monitoring the grill directly. Very excited to have this to use!

We have used the regular one in the past but the having the ability to monitor from your phone is amazing! No one wants to stand by the oven or out by the grill to monitor the progress. I love having the ability to check the temperature from my phone without having to go outside to the grill. You can catch over cooking much faster this way. The thermometer is accurate our steaks came out perfectly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not ever used a bluetooth meat thermometer before. I was a little intimidated to try because I thought it would be too complicated. I was surprised how easy it was to set up, download the app and use it. The thermometer has a backlight on it that makes it easy to read (in big numbers) in any lighting conditions. It comes with 4 prongs so you can monitor up to 4 pieces of food. I love that since my husband and I like different temperatures. The timer is a real plus. I can see when the food is done by looking at my phone or tablet.

It has 4 probes which makes it easy to get the temperature on multiple pieces of meat at one time. It’s Bluetooth and connects easily without any issues. The reading of the temperature is quick so I know if one meat is done before the others and can take it off the grill. The probes are easy to clean. I would highly recommend this to others.

It has four color-coded probes which is really nice to avoid cross-contamination. The backlight is nice for grilling in darker conditions and the app works well on both our phones. Set-up was quick and the range was totally sufficient for our needs (our grill is outside but directly behind our kitchen). Very accurate so far!

The app is very user-friendly and is easy to navigate. It is easy and accessible to check on my food while I’m busy with other things in the kitchen. The four probe design allows me to monitor the temperature of four kinds of different proteins simultaneously. Or I can monitor different parts of the same piece of meat at the same time so I can be sure that everything is cooked evenly. As a monitor, it is accurate and provides quick readings. The screen is large enough to read. Overall, I am happy with this product and I highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about cooking.

The instructions and the back of the device both have QR codes to scan to download the app. The app itself shows all four probes and the probes plug into the device. Click the power button and it immediately shows the temperature of the probe plugged in. When I disconnected the probe an alarm went off on my phone to let me know of an error. Connecting the device over Bluetooth was instantaneous and super easy. It was beyond convenient and easy to use and set up. I was playing around with the temperature of my home as well as holding it in my hand and it was very accurate.

The long range it great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had another brand of wireless temperature probes a for a while now. I've used them for everything from a pork shoulder to a delicious brisket. The one annoyance I've always had was the short range between the transmitter and my phone. I got in the habit of using my tablet instead so I could leave near the back porch where the smoker was. This has the range for me to go anywhere in my house and not have it disconnect. The other thing that I didn't even realize bothered me about my old probes was the fact that it used AA batteries. Some people might like this for the fast swap, but I've gotten in to the habit of recharging most things rather than creating more battery waste. Overall, the temps are accurate, connection reliable, and it has a great range.
