Redesign Give and Take
Meh, previous Sync Dual crapped out after 1.5 years, so it was okay amortized over the period of time it was used. Some changes since the previous version and new one, I most miss the probe designation markings (1,2), which has been relocated from the end (always visible and easy to see) to the side of the probes. If you aren't cognizant of this when inserting the probes, you can easily lose track of which probe is which. The probes and charging points have been redesigned, so the verdict is still out. WiFi and Bluetooth have seen reasonable upgrades.

The Sync Dual probes are designed for continuous temperature monitoring throughout the cooking process, unlike an instant-read thermometer used for quick spot checks. Because the probe stays inside the food and tracks temperature changes over time, its design and response behavior can differ from those of a handheld thermometer. If you prefer to measure temperatures quickly at different times, a handheld instant-read thermometer may be a better fit. Great for remote monitoring!
Got this a year ago. I dont usually write reviews, but this has given me piece of mind when smoking long hour meats. Being able to go places while meat is in process is awesome! Would give 5 stars if it could warn you of low ambient also....

Probes not clearly marked
Because the probes that came with the unit, I could not clearly see the “ring” where you insert them into the meat. Now my probes won’t recharge. I bought one for my son and he used it and likes it. His are recharging fine. When I told him about my problem he sent me a picture of one of his probes and his has the circle in black which can clearly be seen. So I believe there's been a change in the design because people were having the same problem I was. I hope I receive a set of new probes for free with the circle in black which can be clearly seen.

Disappointing Performance After a Few Uses
I really wanted to like the Typhur Sync Dual Meat Thermometer, but both probes failed in almost the exact same way. Each one worked for the first few uses, then after about 20 minutes of cooking they started throwing warnings that they were “too hot” and needed to stop. The second probe eventually began disconnecting from the network, showing the spinning connection circle, and then claiming the battery was low even when fully charged. At this point the product is just over a year old, and both probes are basically unusable. For the price, this is extremely disappointing. I can’t recommend cooking with these.

Excellent machine
We bought it for Christmas ham dinner and are completely satisfied with it. It was easy to set up. We loved how it monitored the oven temperature, beeped when it was done, and beeped again when the ham was finished resting. We were thrilled. Thank you.

It just works!
The app and the charging base work great. Even better than I thought. Super easy to use. We went to BJ's and there was extra steak left over. We put it in the toaster oven with one probe and it worked awesome. Plus, the probes are super easy to clean.

Great product!
Works straight out of the box. My other thermometer is similar to this were a pain in the butt to set up. You don’t even need to use the app if you don’t want to. I do wish the alert on the device itself was a little louder, but that’s my own fault for not setting it up in the app to alert me on my phone when I was busy roaming around the house cooking. Still got an excellent bird at Thanksgiving that everyone raved about.

Great temp sensor
Thanksgiving was the debut of this timer. i used it cooking the turkey, white meat shorter cooking time and lower temp than the dark meat as recommended by This Dude Can Cook video I found on Youtube. It turned out to be the best turkey I have ever made. Everyone loved it. The timer made it easy with the two probes. It also has a smart setting that tells you when to remove your meat and calculates the amount of resting time your meat needs to achieve the perfect temp. That made planning the rest of the side dishes cooking time so much easier. I highly recommend this time with the dual probe feature.

Best thermometer out there. Not only is it extremely accurate but it gives you an estimated time of when the food will be done. It also will give you the ambient temperature. You can also select the food what you wish to cook and it’ll set the cooking time for you accurately. You’ve got to get one of these.

Best wireless thermometer on the marketplace!!!
I have had the two prob unit for several months now and to be honest about it they work better than any competitor hands down they are very dependable and have made my life so much better when I am cooking, and I love to cook now I have to say there is something out there that is better, because of range!!! That been said it is their gold series !!! I wanted to try them with all my different equipment and most of my smokers have moving shelves which means no wires! These temp units work flawless in these situations with thick steel machines and the receiving unit is setting on table next to it! Both the silver and the gold units work flawlessly I won’t use any other brand now they have proven them self give me a nother year and I will write a nother Rating for these units…!!! I might be looking at a two probe gold unit and giving my silver unit to my wife for the oven and her cooks indoors!!! I would more than recommend their equipment and the warranty is fantastic even though I haven’t had to use it at all!!! Oh buy the way I would have never wrote a review like this for any other wireless units that I have spent a lot of money for !!!!!!

Good Internal Temps
Easy to use, accurate internal temperatures. I do not rely on the probe for grill temp however. I utilize a separate, reliable device to monitor grill temps. I am very happy with the Typhur Synch for providing me accurate meat temps though. Easy to set up with an easy to navigate app as well.

The Typhur Dual is amazing. I can cook to the precise doneness of my choice without drying out the meat and the bluetooth technology is out of this world!!!!!
