Description
The Sharp Digital Alarm Clock with AM/FM Radio & Dual Alarm offers the option to switch between a beep alarm or the last listened to radio station to wake up by. Listen to the radio and store up to 10 AM and 10 FM radio stations. Want to relax listening to music before you sleep? Use the sleep function to have the radio automatically turn off to the selected time. This clock is electric operated; the battery backup does not power the clock. The battery backup is used for storing the time and alarm settings if the power is interrupted. During battery backup the clock' s display will not be lit. Once the power is restored the display will re-light. Check the time to make sure it is accurate and adjust if necessary.

Q: After a power failure, do the AA batteries also preserve the AM/FM station presets, or do they need to be re-programmed?

A: The backup battery will only preserve the time & alarm, not the radio presets.

Q: What does "Dual" alarm clock mean? Can you set multiple alarms per day?

A: Dual alarms means there are 2 alarm settings. You can set one alarm for 7:00 am and the other alarm for 8:00 am, as an example.

A: No, the backlight cannot be adjusted on this model. If bright lights bother you at night, we recommend getting a clock with a red display instead.

Q: How do I clear the station presets so I can set new ones?

A: You cannot clear the presets, you can only overwrite them. If you want to restore the clock to default, I would recommend just resetting it by removing all power (unplug & remove batteries), waiting 10 seconds, then turning it back on (plug it back in and replace batteries if needed).

This is a simple alarm clock with radio, exactly what i was looking for. I like the design, size, and ease of use. The only con, as others have stated, its way too bright. There is no dimmer options on it. This thing lights up my entire room. Im going to order some dimming sheets in hopes of fixing it, but a dimming option would make this item 5/5.

The brightness of the numbers is ridiculous. It threw shadows in the room. Otherwise nice, but I couldn't get used to it and will have to return for something with a dimmer switch.

This is a smaller size alarm clock with great volume, simple operating instructions and easy to handle on/off buttons. BUT it is very bright and has no dimmer. Had to purchase a dimming sheet to place on the face of the clock and now it's perfect.

Basic alarm clock that work as intended. Settings are easy to understand as long as you read the manual. I like that it has radio and can be used as a alarm sound, the font height is perfect and easy to see. Dual alarm feature is a bonus to have.
