Q: There is no rotation button on this clock the projection has to be read from right to left
A: The clock is meant to be placed on a nightstand, either to the right or left of you. When laying in bed, the projection will display the time correctly either directly above you or across the room if the projection arm is tilted. Please feel free to contact us at custserv_clocks@mzb.com if you have any additional questions.
submitted byM.Z. Berger Team - 3 years agoBrand expertA: I'll answer this again because its such a fail. If you place it on your nightstand, you need to face the clock away from you to see the projection in the correct orientation. If I am incorrect, please feel free to correct me.
submitted byWSilver - 3 years agoA: This is SO weak. If you are buying for the projection, don't bother. Its backwards. That is useless to me. This complaint is echoed numerous times. I can get the projection to be normal if I face the clock face away from me. But then I can see the clock face. Unless there is a way to switch the orientation of the projected time, which I haven't seen after a couple of hours of searching the web, you are adding ZERO value. My humble recommendation is do not buy this if you need the projection feature to be operationally useful.

Q: How do you dim the display...
A: Well that sucks!! The light is way too bright to sleep with it on. I only paid 25 bucks or so, I’ll just buy a quality alarm clock with dim button!! Btw y’all, this sharp brand is not related to the renown Sharp brand we’re all familiar with. Also, quick fix for the bright none-dimmable light; just put a piece of cloth or washcloth on the clock face… the projection still works fine.

submitted byMaxikat - 11 months agoA: Hello. Thank you for your question. This model has a fixed display brightness. There is no dimmer. Best regards, MZ Berger Team

Q: The trend appears to be alarm clock with no radio, and some with usb charging. This unit is very efficient, especially that fixed projector. Does this mean that alarm clocks will be basic?
A: There are many different options for alarm clocks. Basic alarm clocks and more advanced alarm clocks are available to suit everyone's needs.

Q: Can anyone tell me about how big the projection itself is? I'm trying to find a way to project a LARGE time on the wall for exams....hoping the projection is a lot bigger than the screen itself.
A: Yes, the projection is larger than the clock display. The farther away the surface you project on to, the larger the letters will appear. Please note, this works best in a dark or very dimly lit room.
