Description
Moonglow is a bright and colorful bedside night light and alarm clock. Simply press down on the top to turn on the nightlight and choose either white, color or a gradually changing color gradients (our favorite option!). With adjustable brightness and a sleep timer, drift off to sleep with relaxing lighting options. Set the wake up light to gradually brighten and wake you up before the alarm sounds. The modern white LED clock display has dimmer settings and the alarm has an adjustable snooze times for your convenience. Moonglow is powered with an included plug-in power adapter and features battery backup with 2 AAA batteries (not included). If the power is interrupted the alarm will still sound, you can tap the clock to see the time and when power is restored the time and alarm settings will be saved.

A: Hi Caitlyn, When the alarm sounds, press the alarm button, or any button on the back, and the alarm will turn off and be ready to sound again the next day.

Q: can it be powered all the time by just the batteries?

A: This is a plug in clock that night light up and has a lit display to power it. It has backup batteries so if power is lost, the alarm will still sound, the time/alarm settings will be saved and if you need to see the time you can press down on the top to briefly show the time. It can't be run off the batteries fully though since it would drain the batteries quickly.

A: Yes, the light turns on and off and has an option for a sleep timer. The clock display stays on and has adjustable brightness.

Q: It seems that I am setting the alarm for 5:00 AM in the evening, but it then it magically becomes 5:00 PM overnight, doesn't ring in the morning and rings 5pm. What user interaction could cause this?

A: To set the alarm time, hold down the Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 button till the time starts to flash then use the hour and minute buttons to set it. The nightlight function won’t turn off in the morning, I have to unplug the item, then plug it back in and reset the time every morning. Annoying. Also when on, the nightlight makes a quiet but still noticeable electronic buzzing sound that I really don’t like.

pretty good clock
I found this clock relatively simple to use. I wish the controls made it possible to keep the time bright but dim the glow better. It's pretty bright enough at night but hard to read during the day unless I keep on adjusting it for night and day. Perhaps there's a setting that fixes this but I just haven't figured it out yet.

Light is beautiful, button feet are an obstacle
What i like are the colors and easy programing. What i dislike is the feet being buttons. Like I will lift my clock to do something and it resets the light timer. I gave this to my 10yo child as an alarm and she loves the light but doesn't like how the alarm snoozes easier than resets. She just wants to reset it and for some reason gets confused with trying to reset without snoozing because of the button feet. So, get rid of the button feet they are an obstacle more than a feature.

Didn't Last Long
Less than 4 months into owning this, it stopped working. Would still light up, but the clock showed random lines where the time should be and it had a battery symbol despite being plugged in.

Hi, Sorry to hear that you're having this problem. It's possible that there was a power surge and may need to be reset. You can remove the backup batteries then unplug the clock for a 15 seconds and then plug back in and replace the backup batteries. The instructions are very hard to understand. I thought I bought and alarm clock that would turn gradually with alarm clock turning on. Its basically a night light and then the white light will turn on a few minutes or right before alarm clock.

This alarm is defective. Made a ticking bomb sound and didn’t display anything in the screen. Followed directions, unplugged and removed batteries to reset and to no avail it still didn’t work. Got my daughter upset too that she couldn’t figure it out.

I use this as my alarm clock. The light feature that turns on 15 minutes prior to my set alarm time is wonderful! It slowly gets brighter and I am always awake before the alarm sounds. it's nice to not wake up the whole house. the night light feature options are very pretty and nice to have just before going to sleep.

Nice table clock. Has big numbers. Very bright even at the lowest settings. The sleep mode (places light clock off) is a good feature. Goes back on by pressing any of the buttons. The different modes of lights helps me wake up when i set my alarm

Cute Alarm Clock
I through this alarm would be great for my daughter who doesn’t like waking up to an alarm. I like the nightlight with color changing options. The alarm itself is just a beep and not particularly loud, so I like the option to have a wake up light go on before the alarm and gradually get brighter. I think this will be helpful for my heavy sleeper. I also like that you can set the snooze timer for 5,15, or 30 minutes for those that like to hit the snooze button multiple times. It has a battery backup to for any power outages. Overall, it’s a nice little alarm for a kid’s room or for anyone who prefers waking up to a traditional alarm.

Love the tap nightlite feature
I will admit that I had to look at the instructions to figure out a few features, as it was not intuitive... but the instructions were accurate and i was able to get things working as needed. I love how the nightlite feature is tappable, and the feature of having the light on to gently wake has been pleasant for myself and my son. The only bonus feature that would be nice to have is a sound machine built in for a deluxe version or idea for future... but otherwise its perfect. You can even change the colors to your preference which is nice! Easy to use, alarm works every time, and can run on either batteries or cable!
