Description
Moonglow is a bright and colorful bedside night light and alarm clock. Simply press down on the top to turn on the nightlight and choose either white, color or a gradually changing color gradients (our favorite option!). With adjustable brightness and a sleep timer, drift off to sleep with relaxing lighting options. Set the wake up light to gradually brighten and wake you up before the alarm sounds. The modern white LED clock display has dimmer settings and the alarm has an adjustable snooze times for your convenience. Moonglow is powered with an included plug-in power adapter and features battery backup with 2 AAA batteries (not included). If the power is interrupted the alarm will still sound, you can tap the clock to see the time and when power is restored the time and alarm settings will be saved.

Q: can it be powered all the time by just the batteries?

A: This is a plug in clock that night light up and has a lit display to power it. It has backup batteries so if power is lost, the alarm will still sound, the time/alarm settings will be saved and if you need to see the time you can press down on the top to briefly show the time. It can't be run off the batteries fully though since it would drain the batteries quickly.

Q: Capello Candy clock CA12 (A MODEL THAT SHOWS NOWHERE ON CAPELLO LIST), i cannot get the alarm to set. Set time, push alarm and nothing happens at set time. There is no slide or button to click on/off

A: To set the alarm time, hold down the Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 button till the time starts to flash then use the hour and minute buttons to set it. Q: How do you set the wake up light? Mine is just on as soon as the alarm sounds and the instructions don’t mention it at all.

A: When you set the alarm, you can choose to have the light come on as well. The light will start dim 5 minutes before the alarm time and progressively get brighter to reach full brightness at the alarm time. (If you're testing the alarm and set it for less than 15 minutes ahead then the light will just turn on fully at the alarm time and not gradually get brighter. Q: Can you set separate weekday and weekend alarms? Second, can you set what color comes on for the alarm? Lastly, can you use the light alarm only and turn off the sound alarm? Thank you!

A: Hi Luri, You cannot set separate alarm times for the weekday and weekend. The light with the alarm is warm white but cannot be changed. Q: I see it says there is a "sleep timer" - is that just in reference to setting the alarm for a wake up time? Is it able to be set to turn on/change color when it's bedtime as well?

A: The display has a low brightness setting that is dim but still on so you can see the time. It does not completely shut off.

The instructions are very hard to understand. I thought I bought and alarm clock that would turn gradually with alarm clock turning on. Its basically a night light and then the white light will turn on a few minutes or right before alarm clock.

This alarm is defective. Made a ticking bomb sound and didn’t display anything in the screen. Followed directions, unplugged and removed batteries to reset and to no avail it still didn’t work. Got my daughter upset too that she couldn’t figure it out.

I use this as my alarm clock. The light feature that turns on 15 minutes prior to my set alarm time is wonderful! It slowly gets brighter and I am always awake before the alarm sounds. it's nice to not wake up the whole house. the night light feature options are very pretty and nice to have just before going to sleep.

Nice table clock. Has big numbers. Very bright even at the lowest settings. The sleep mode (places light clock off) is a good feature. Goes back on by pressing any of the buttons. The different modes of lights helps me wake up when i set my alarm

I through this alarm would be great for my daughter who doesn’t like waking up to an alarm. I like the nightlight with color changing options. The alarm itself is just a beep and not particularly loud, so I like the option to have a wake up light go on before the alarm and gradually get brighter. I think this will be helpful for my heavy sleeper. I also like that you can set the snooze timer for 5,15, or 30 minutes for those that like to hit the snooze button multiple times. It has a battery backup to for any power outages. Overall, it’s a nice little alarm for a kid’s room or for anyone who prefers waking up to a traditional alarm.

I will admit that I had to look at the instructions to figure out a few features, as it was not intuitive... but the instructions were accurate and i was able to get things working as needed. I love how the nightlite feature is tappable, and the feature of having the light on to gently wake has been pleasant for myself and my son. The only bonus feature that would be nice to have is a sound machine built in for a deluxe version or idea for future... but otherwise its perfect. You can even change the colors to your preference which is nice! Easy to use, alarm works every time, and can run on either batteries or cable!

I've always loved unique and different lamps. I especially love lights that double as a clock/alarm. The moon glow alarm table clock is the perfect aesthetic for any room. It is an alarm clock that also has a built in soft light that can be used as a night light or mood lighting. I love the multiple colors it has and that it's not overly bright. You can adjust the brightness-there are 4 levels of brightness. None of them are overly bright, but provide a nice soft glow. There are also several different options of color combinations; white, soft pink/orange, blue/green, yellow/red, pink/purple etc. They can also be cycled so you get a mix of all of them. The clock is also large enough that anyone can see it, this is especially helpful for those of us who may need glasses for farsightedness. I have it set up in my office to provide a little mood lighting when I work. Overall, I'm very happy with this clock and would recommended to anyone looking for a clock with mood lighting capabilities.

Capello soft glow white nightlight with color changing mood light is an awesome moon glow clock with alarm. This clock has so many awesome features. Instructions were easy to read & follow. Everything is easy to maneuver. This clock comes with its own AC adapter but also has its own back up power source of 2 AAA batteries ( batteries not included). Built nicely. Great quality. I love that you can dim the brightness of the clock numbers itself. & I absolutely love the colors that this clock illuminates yellow / orange, blue/ green, pink /purple. My granddaughter & I love changing the colors every night . This also has a wake up light& an alarm clock. You can tap the top of the device for snooze once alarm goes off. I've never actually heard of Capello previously, prior to this product but we absolutely love it & will be on the look out for more of their products. I would absolutely recommend Capello moonglow alarm clock.

This is a great alarm clock with a built in night light! You touch on the top to turn the night light on/off or set the timer. It’s pretty sensitive though and kept turning off as I was trying to change the color. The only thing to make it better would be music/speaker which it doesn’t have.

This is a nifty clock and light. You push the whole clock down to turn the light on which is convenient but i's easy to accidentally turn it on/off. You have to select the fade setting each time otherwise it goes to a default color. The dimming setting stays the same and the brightest is bright and the lowest isn't bothersome at all. The colors are of good quality. Be aware the alarm is on 6AM by default so make sure to turn it off.

This is such a great alarm clock. I love the shape and aesthetic. It has a large digital display. It has an alarm clock with a snoozer timer that comes in handy. The alarm can be a white light or colored light depending on preference. You can use either the charger or batteries.

It is a basic alarm clock that has some cool light options on it for a night light. This is not something you are looking for it you want that soft sunrise wake up. There are preset night light features and a basic alarm clock as well. It does have dimming features that are nice as well. It is great for a child who likes to read at night or who still wants a night light.

I confess, I originally got this Capello Moonglow clock with color changing light for my oldest kiddo but it quickly shifted itself into my room and landed on my nightstand. I really love the look of this design, it's super light and I am able to use it plugged into the power with the included adapter(phew, it's included!) or place 2 AAA batteries (not included) and carry it anywhere I choose to. I love how relaxing the color changing light looks at night or in the morning. The design is very modern and classy. I am able to choose white light, colors, or gradually changing colors(my favorite). It has an alarm clock with an adjustable snoozer timer. Super easy to set up, great instructions and easy to navigate through the included book. One of my favorite parts is waking up to a gradually natural light before the alarm clock rings. It's peaceful, relaxing and just the right way for me to wake up without any crazy alarm clocks that I get startled from a good dream. Since my kids have discovered this clock, it looks like it's been added to my shopping cart and their persuasive conversation about how they would use it or it would help them has worked on this mama! My oldest prefers this to look at the time in the morning as he's getting ready, as well as the gradual changing light helps him relax at night. My middle son has convinced me this is the item he needs to keep his room from scary monsters. I am officially sold and looks like I will be purchasing 2 more of these!! I highly recommend it! Great for kids or adults!

We tend to have a lot of nightlights in our house with little kids, but we thought this would be great for the guest room. As we have family with little children stay with us from time to time. Love the concept and simplicity of it. The colors are great as well. The only thing that would be beneficial to add to this colorful alarm clock would be a remote to use with it. The dresser is too far from the bed to lean over and stop an alarm or change the color. Otherwise though, great alarm clock, would buy again.
