Q: Can you adjust the brightness of the display clock? Emmanuel states to press the snooze button but there is no snooze button.

A: You have to press down on the clock, it has little buttons on the bottom that press if you press down from the top. Don’t tap it like you would tap a phone screen.

You can tap anywhere on the top of the clock when it's sitting a nightstand, table or other surface to choose your preferred brightness. You can tap on the top as well to snooze the alarm when it's sounding. It's labeled "snooze" on the top as well to indicate the general area you can tap for snooze or adjusting the brightness.

Q: I saw someone ask above, but there was no answer yet, so thought I would follow up: How loud is the alarm and is it possible to adjust it at all or is just your standard/"loud" beep-beep-beep??

A: Yes is it the standard beep. Unfortunately you can not change it.

A: 1.The product uses an LED display which is not affected by the angle and has a high degree of clarity, you can also adjust the brightness of the display by clicking on the dimmer button.

A: Hi Sandy. To disable the alarm tap the Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 button. On the display there's a small light that will turn off when the alarm is disabled and will light when it's enabled. A: Hi Sienna, So sorry that the directions were missing with your clock. Contact me and I can send to you support@hellocapello.com. To set the time, hold down the time set button (the one with the clock icon) for a few seconds till the hours start to flash. Then release the button and use the +/- buttons to adjust the hours. They will cycle 1-12 and change AM/PM shown with a little light under the display turns on/off. Tap the time set button and minutes will flash so you can adjust. To then set the alarm, hold down the Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 till the alarm time starts to flash and adjust the time the same way. After the alarm is set you can tap the alarm button to toggle the alarm from being enabled/disabled and a little light under the display on the left side will turn on/off to indicate if the alarm will sound or not. You can barely see the time even on its brightest setting. And the USB port doesn’t work with my phone charger and won’t charge my iPhone. It is tiny! The picture on the box is smaller than the clock.

bought it cause it looked nicer than the standard digital clock. however, the number display pixels stopped working after a few months and the time would not be accurate (even after adjusting several times). considering it is plugged in and not battery powered, it should not lag in time like that

Everything an alarm clock needs and more!
Dual-alarm, adjustable display brightness, and a USB port make this small modern alarm clock not only visually beautiful but super functional. I like to sleep in just a little later on the weekends so the dual-alarm is wonderful! Also, I like a dark room when I sleep so I love being able to adjust the brightness on the display so its no so bright yet I can see it. And being able to plug in a phone or watch charger into too is a nice feature that I like having. Setting the clock and alarrms is the same as any other digital clock I've ever had, not sure why people are having such a difficult time with it. I didn't even need to read the instructions because as I said its the same as any other digital clock I've ever owned. Small and the simple modern/neutral design will go well with any decor. I've owned mine for 3 or 4 years and I'vee had zero issues with it.

Frustrating
This Capello alarm clock has an elaborate procedure to cancel an alarm that was set. I.e., not to turn off the alarm, to cancel it altogether. Have to unplug the power, remove the batteries, wait 10 seconds, reinstall batteries, plug in again. It will show 12:00. Press and hold time set, then press plus or minus to wanted number. Number did not change. I threw it out.

Not bright enough!
This clock is not bright enough, even at the highest setting, very hard to see the digital time. Also the manual says the brightness adjustment is located on top of clock (next to snooze), but on my clock the brightness adjustment is located on the BOTTOM, glad I discovered that secret by accidentally pressing the unlabeled little black button. Anyway, returned to store! Not bright enough.

Not good at its one job
I have had this clock for 3 years. It's not that complicated to set up, especially if you can read directions. The clock, however does not function. As others say, it does not stay on time and gradually lags more and more. At this point, I believe it randomly decides when it actually wants to go off or not but I'm asleep so I can't guarantee it. Your better off gmtrying a Thrift store clock or a few for the same price and better reliability. The light is adjustable by hitting the snooze btw. I have no issues with the light.

Fits perfectly in the space allocated. Two comments: It does not have a 24 hour option (as far as I can tell). Since I use it in the moring it doesn't really matter but much prefer 24 hour clocks. 2nd, I was expecting it to be powered by USB. The actual powerblock system is fine, though.

Cute while it lasted
Like other reviewers have stated, the light display eventually faded out in a few spots rendering it impossible to read. I did get a solid 3 years out of the clock before it malfunctioned, so it sounds like I got lucky compared to some other people. Bummer because it’s a really good looking clock otherwise.

Please dont buy
It doesn’t keep time well. Within a day or two of setting the correct time, it will be a minute off. With the gap growing day by day. I changed the time a week ago and it’s already 6 mins off. That and the alarm doesn’t always actually go off (but it usually does, it’s kind of a gamble).

Hi Kellie, to set the time press the time set button and hold till the time starts to flash. Then release the button and use the + and - buttons to first adjust the hour, then tap the time set button and the minutes will flash and use the + and - buttons to adjust the minutes.

Piece of junk, lights stopped working a month in
Poor quality, only a month in and some of the lights are already not working. For example, when it is lit up as an eight, it looks like a two because the lights no longer light up correctly and the vertical light bars are missing. I liked this clock initially because you can set it very dim so it’s perfect for sleeping in a dark bedroom, but it’s poor quality and has already broken.
