A: Hi Charlz, we are happy to help you. Located on the back of the clock, twist the two screws in a counterclockwise direction until you are able to remove the two screws from the cover holes. Tilt the clock to allow the cover to gently fall out of the clock's case. You may need to gently use a small, flat tip screw driver to help the back cover to become dislodged from the case; be careful not to scratch the frame when doing this. Once the cover has been removed, the battery terminal is accessible. When inserting the new AA battery, be sure that the battery polarity is in correct alignment within the battery terminal. Set the clock to the correct time using the time-setting wheel located above the battery terminal on the clock movement. Set the cover on the back in place on the back of the clock frame.
