Mishaps off the Mainland - by Tabitha Bouldin (Paperback)

About the Book

Book Synopsis

Melody Carmichael thought her mobile pet grooming business was her calling-until her first big gig goes completely off the leash. Daphne, the Afghan hound with a nose for trouble, has made a break for it, and Mel's dream is teetering on the edge of disaster.

Enter Zeke Solomon: the charming, slightly buttoned-up grandson of Daphne's owner. Zeke is on a mission to bring the runaway pup home, but he's got his own hurdles to jump. With his father pressuring him to ditch his quirky side projects and rejoin the family business, Zeke's wondering if he'll ever escape his father's long shadow.

Teaming up to find Daphne is the last thing Mel and Zeke expect-or want-but as they chase the mischievous dog across town, they find themselves chasing something even more elusive: hope, courage, and maybe a spark of something neither one of them saw coming.

Will Mel's dream business survive its rocky start? Can Zeke find the courage to blaze his own trail? And will Daphne please stop running long enough for these two to catch their breath-and their hearts?

Perfect for fans of heartwarming, beachy romance, laugh-out-loud mishaps, and a healthy dose of inspiration, Mishaps off the Mainland is a story about faith, finding your path, and the unexpected ways God leads you right where you're meant to be.
