This arrived with a lot of damage to the pieces, as shown in the photos; the damage still shows in its assembled state. It was impossible to square, no matter how much we manipulated it; if it's on carpet, it doesn't wobble, but on a floor it does. I cannot recommend this product.

Don't waste your time. Horrible assembly/assembly instructions and the end result is a cheap, flimsy, and average looking nightstand

Easy assembly, clear picture‑based instructions, and everything fit perfectly. Some reviews mention issues, but careful assembly made mine come together beautifully. It’s sturdy, looks great, and is very affordable.

This is a nice nightstand that is well designed and sturdy. Having one drawer might seem kinda weird but the bottom opening allows you to store shoes or a bag. It's decently priced too. Took about 30mins for me to put together and was rather easy to put together too because of the clear instructions. The features on the drawer are nice since it allows you to adjust the drawer relatively easily. My only issue with this is the gap at the bottom. Per the directions this is intentional. It isn't a large gap but it's there. See photos to see what I'm talking about.

Would give a 0 star if I could. Pieces that come with the product do not fit and end up being loose. There seems to be a common occurrence of this so I’m honestly shocked that target even sells this item. Buy any other nightstand than this. It is made very poorly and they send the wrong items.

This nightstand is just what I needed next to my bed. The materials do not feel like they are flimsy or like they will fall apart. It is very sturdy and was easy to put together. The drawer slides well and it is very roomy for all of the little things you would like to have next to your bed. I would not hesitate to purchase this again.

It’s nice if you’re looking for a simple nightstand for a college student. The assembly was straightforward except it wasn’t intuitive needing to adjust the drawer to fit on the track. However it didn’t take long to figure it out. It’s not made of real wood, but for a laminate one it seems really good overall.

I personally am not a fan of this unless you are looking for something relatively inexpensive that will only last a year. Materials felt cheap and it is a bit awkward that the primary drawer sits so far back. It took about 1 hour to setup with minimal tools (screwdriver and hammer) and although it included all of the screws and hidden cams, the unit seemed very cheapy put together and to reinforce several of the screws honestly required a specialty bit to the screwdriver as it was harder to do than it should have been. Would I purchase this again? Probably not as I feel it is on the flimsier side and can easily be broken if somehow it gets toppled over by my adventurous toddler. Does it look cute though? Yes- but a piece of furniture for our family means surviving the inevitable abuse of my children enough that it lasts longer than a year. Storage is enough for a few books and pens in the drawer and not sure how helpful an open shelf is when I am using the nightstand to hide some of the clutter. Overall I'm not really a fan unfortunately and would instead buy from a different major retailer if you are looking for quality beyond $25. I would give it a zero if possible. This thing is very poorly designed. Connector pieces don't work well. This went straight to the dumpster after trying to assemble.

Save your time. This is a cute concept drawer doesn’t assemble properly you will more than likely break it before assembling it correctly. I have used their old model’s for different areas in mine and my parents house EASY PEASY this is A DISASTROUS MESS. Like just keep the money isn’t worth 75$ 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

None of the parts fit, I have to HAMMER THE DRAWER so it fit inside the slots and I'm missing a ahh half of the BACKING

Easy to assemble with a simple clear steps and illustrations in the instruction manual. It took me an hour from start to finish; you will need a screwdriver and hammer (and some wood or carpenter glue). The entire piece is sturdy but my concern is the drawer. Unless there was a step I neglected or performed in error, the drawer pieces connect loosely to the drawer face. Here is where the glue comes in; I feel like I will need to reinforce the drawer face with glue so that it will stay snug to the rest of the drawer piece (which is reinforced by the cam and dowel pieces). Until then, I’m uncertain if the drawer will hold items. It is a functional end table and will hold items on the surface (but not necessarily the drawer).

The build process started off a little interesting, but was honestly one of the easier ones to put together. I loved how the pieces were stamped with what letter vs those annoying stickers you end up never taking off. And the drawer requires some finessing, but it works. I love how the drawer sits “inside” of the stand. Adds a sleek look to it. Overall a good value for a stand DIY piece. Great for those kids, or college rooms!

We set up this nightstand in my 8 year old daughter's room and it's a great affordable piece of furniture for her room. The assembly was fairly easy and the instructions were easy to follow. This definitely is a cheaper looking nightstand but I think it works great for a kid's room. The drawer does slide really nicely and is perfect storage for my daughter to keep some of her little things and leave the rest of her nightstand clean and tidy. This is a nice size as well and not too small!

This was so easy to build! It is very sleek looking and fits in great in my daughter’s bedroom. The drawer is really big and deep and holds so much stuff. It’s also really sturdy. She has a lot of stuff in and on it and it is holding up very well.

This nightstand was very easy to put together. The packaging was amazing and instructions were very thorough. Highly recommend!!! There is a lot of storage space and the finish was scratch free. 100 percent recommend!

Very easy to set up and put together. Took a couple tries to get some of the parts done the right way. Looks great though and is sturdy! Drawer slides with no issues.

Upon receiving the room essentials nightstand I had my son help me put it together. The installation went smooth and it was clearly laid out in the instructions. It’s not to heavy to lift especially if you have two people to do it. The quality is on the cheaper side of things as it’s made with particle wood but it’s enough sturdy to be effective. The drawer slides in and out smoothly. I’m happy with this nightstand and my son loves it beside his bed.

This item was easy to put together and a great time for my bedroom. I like the clean and simple look.
