Q: I do not understand how standard 8 1/2 x 11 hanging files are supposed to go in the bottom drawer. The pieces that are in that drawer don't make sense and there were no instructions included with the shipped product. Please advise. Thank you.

A: Thank you for your question! The bottom drawers are designed to hang the longer legal folder sizes. To use with the shorter letter-sized folders, you can add Workstream by Monoprice 8.5 x 11" Letter Size Hanging Rail Adapter for Drawer File Cabinets to provide a rail to hang the shorter folders. Or stand-alone hanging folder rails that fit inside drawers could work too.

Overall, the aesthetic design is the primary positive. Arrived with hairline cracks along the curved edges on the top which are visible up close. The bottom drawer dividers are not secure and easily fall out if the sides of the drawer are pushed in any way.

These are 13 inches across, the standard is 11 inches and the longer size is 14 or over, so no hanging files fit!!!!!! Ridiculous design

I started using the top drawers already and today I went to put my files in and realized it doesn't have the frame to hang files. Why would anyone want a file cabinet without the rails? Now I need to buy something else to go in this so I can use it as an actual file cabinet.

The bottom drawer doesn't have the rails that hanging file folders sit on. I had to buy a separate insert just for that. This isn't listed anywhere in the description. I don't understand why a company would sell a cabinet without this feature. It defeats the purpose of a filing cabinet. I gave it 2 stars because it did come fully assembled. It feels cheaper than I would have expected though. It also already had a dent on the top.

Good things first.: - No Assembly required. - Very good packaging, very low risk of getting damaged during shipping. Bad thing: - I ordered a lot of Workstream products by now. Most of them (about 2/3) seem to be returns from other customers. The taped shut packaging, weird placement of items and other indicator showed this. - Does not fit hanging folders. There is a loose piece of metal in one of the two I ordered. It does not fit anywhere. No manual, no packing list, no "what in the box" neither with the parts nor online. - Each of the two roller files came with a pencil holder inlay. It fit nice into one of them, not the other one.
