submitted by LizzieT - 1 year ago
A: The Munchkin C'est Silicone! 4oz Training Cup with Straw can be placed in the top rack of the dishwasher but is not designed to be microwave, boil, or steam sterilized.

Baby ripped the straw out and was in a puddle of water in under 15 seconds after being given this cup.

Wouldn't Recommend.
Wouldn't recommend. The straw and lid come off SO easily. As soon as my daughter turned 8 months she was pulling the straw out for fun. I would not recommend buying these.

Not a fan
The top is easily removed by baby/toddlers. It’s basically a water balloon with a straw that our baby likes to rip open. An extra star because it at least has a pliable straw. No hard straw injuries is it’s only plus.

Almost perfect
This cup is the perfect size for my little one’s hands. She loves the texture of the straw on her gums, and the angle that it sits in the cup is really helpful for learning. The only downside is that you can’t see through the straw so I can’t monitor how much she is (or is not) sipping.

Not a training cup
I did not like this cup! It was very difficult for my baby to learn how to use it. This cup is for babies that already know how to suck with a straw. Definitely don’t recommend for those who are trying to teach their babies how to use a straw.

LedWeaning Cups!
After trying out several options, we’ve finally found the most adorable sippy cup for my 7-month-old! super easy for little hands to grip, and features a soft straw that’s gentle on his gums. It’s the ideal choice for him, and he truly enjoys using it!

I preferred the old design.
I preferred the old design. This one spills from the top a little and if baby squeezes the cup with both hands the lid pops off. I did also like the mini size option in the old design.

Great starter cup
My son has been learning and using this cup since he was 4 months old (now 7 months) it doesn't spill when knocked over and easy for him to hold. It only leaks a bit if he is pulling at the straw while cup is tilted. Only negative is that the straw comes out pretty easily when he pulls on it. Overall would recommend!

Leaky
This cup leaks so badly unless you hold it perfectly straight - which no toddler ever does. If you love puddles on your floor, this cup is for you!

Will buy again
My daughter was not drinking out of sippy cups. She wouldn’t lift the cups to drink. We did not want to continue using bottles and were concerned with how little she was drinking. She immediately took to using this straw and is using this cup independently throughout the day. She is 13 months old. The cup will leak when full if it is knocked on its side but it serves its purpose for us at meal times.

Not recommended for under 1
Hard for my baby to drink out of - he spits water back out. It’s not him, it’s this cup - other cups are fine. I think it’s too big for him right now. Maybe it’ll be better in the future.

Disappointed
It was great in the beginning until it started to smell like soap, and I got suspicious so I drink some water from it and the water tasted like soap also.

Great training cup
The easy of use it was for my baby to learn to drink from a straw. It took him one day now he is grabbing the cup himself and drinks out of it . I love it and it is so cute seeing him use it

Perfect first cup for my 8 month. However wish it had handles. Not easy to hold for him.
