Each frame is made with the highest quality fir wood and coated with ZTPE, an inert archival material that seals the wood to keep your art safe. The ZTPE coating seals the entire moulding to ensure lasting quality. The Imperial Stratford design features a beveled reverse scoop in an antique bronze finish with an interior crescent pattern in the Neoclassical style. Q: How do you secure the picture and hang the frame with no backing ?

  • A: For a print, you will need glass or glazing as well as a backing and glazier or framer's points to secure everything within the frame. For a canvas, you would need offset clips to secure the artwork within the frame.

    Beautiful frames, true to description & pictures, was exactly what I needed. Set of 3 is a great value. Also very much appreciate how well it was packaged, was delivered in the rain with the box soaked through but the contents were well protected and in perfect condition.

    Misleading product listing

    The frame is beautiful, but it's JUST a frame. If you want to be able to wear it as a necklace, it's perfect. If you want plexiglass/glass and backing board so you can actually frame a photo or piece of art, unless you're willing to spend additional time and money to buy and assemble those materials yourself, this is not the frame for you.

    Love!

    People who gave this one or two stars didn’t read the description! It’s gorgeous, I love everything about it. There is no glass but it’s meant to display a painting not a photograph. I used command strips to hang it up but you could just as easily install a hanger on the back.

    Poor product

    The frame was made cheap and came with no glass or backing that you could use to display. I have never had to look to see if a frame came with glass.

    No glass, mounting or backing. Way overpriced.

    Really not worth the price for a frame that does NOT include anything other than the wood. No glass, no backing, the hooks to hang it were not even attached so you have to place and screw those in yourself too. Way overpriced considering how much you have to buy to make it functional…
