Disappointed
I should have listened to the other reviewers. This is not your usual Eddie Bauer quality and the material picks up every single speck of dust and lint. It is cheaply sewn together with thread that doesn’t match the comforter itself. For this price you could get far better quality elsewhere. I’m disappointed but made the mistake of showing it to my son and he wanted to keep it. And I’m wriiting this review, I now see the comforter is $20 off what I just paid so now I’m even more annoyed. It would have been better not to know.

I bought this on sale. I like the rustic look. However, like another reviewer stated has a sleeping bag appearance. Its not as soft as i prefer and am hoping it will soften with use. Its ok though because its more for warmth. If you like super soft blankets this isn't it.

Not what I was expecting.
I mistakenly thought this would have a crisp feel to it with a navy and white gingham on the reverse side but it isn’t. This is a super heavy almost canvas navy fabric and the gingham is ivory and navy fabric that looks and feels like flannel. The whole thing feels like I unzipped a very heavy duty old sleeping bag and threw it on the bed as a comforter. I gave it 3 stars because it’s well made but it is extremely drab and old fashioned. Would be perfect in a rustic ski lodge but that’s about it. Returning it.

Its a good one
Worth the higher price. Basic navy and be aware that stitching is white, mine had a small double stitching in a spot that is annoying to look at, but kept it. Other side is a flannel check pattern if you like that. I will use the solid blue side for appearance sake.
