This is a review for the customer service employee. Tall middle age woman with medium brown / reddish hair. We have been searching for a week for this squishy and my 10 year old kindly asked the lady if they had any. She looks her straight in the eyes smiled and said no we are all out. My daughter thought let’s check the toy section just in case they put Squishies out yet. We’ve been waiting for the highland cow too. We thought it was a long shot it was 2:30 in the afternoon. We go back there and what do we find? A few boxes of these needohs on the shelf. Why the customer service person thought it was necessary to lie to a child is sad and a direct reflection of horrible customer service. My daughter is 10 not a 40 year old reseller. Plus the store was not regulating how many people bought a mom and her son left with about 9 or 10 right next to us. My daughter grabbed just these that we bought, one for herself, her sibling and for her friends birthday and wanted to keep the rest left for others. That customer service rep left such a poor taste in my mouth about Target and what they stand for, is lieing to customers intentionally where we are at now. I understand resellers, but again a sweet 10 year old that was nervous to even talk to this later. Super sad. Also when checking out, we used the self checkout, the employee was watching and when my daughter looked up at her she rolled her eyes smirking. This was not a case of “I didn’t know they put them out” it was case of bad character. Beaverton Oregon store
