The smell is horrendous. Smells like I just box dyed my hair, and it doesn’t go away once it dries. The Kristen Ess lightweight conditioner is soooo much better and actually makes your hair feel soft (and not like straw like this does) while not holding hair down.

Methylisothiazolinone aka Allergy of the Year
Methylisothiazolinone?! Why Nexxus why?! So you can say “paraben free”!??? This was named ALLERGEN OF THE YEAR. You don’t have to “be allergic” you will BECOME allergic !! It’s so unnecessary when parabens are SAFE. Stop feeding the misinformation bullies more fuel. I no longer exclusively use Nexxus. In fact I only buy it if it’s the only option. Whenever the brand started going down the Sulfate free shampoo rabbit hole, I no longer used the shampoo. Now I see them advertising no silicones and I’m sure the conditioners will be next.

I personally do well with Nexxus hair lines, so this works great for me Gives my hair the lightweight moisture it needs and doesn’t weight it down Makes my hair super easy to detangle (I have very coarse, wavy and frizzy hair) Only con is I don’t think this product is effective for frizz control This is great conditioner if you’re comfortable trying new things or know your hair can work with Nexxus products

These reviews are from people that don't know how to use the CORRECT product for THEIR hair. Hair products are never universal, for me, this product in fact makes my hair so light and smooth that every strand is separate from each other, no clumping together. What else is that but "ultralight smooth"? Giving a product a 1 star because you tried the wrong product one time is just dumb.

Truly the worst conditioner I've ever used
This product (along with the shampoo) was truly awful for my hair. It turned my hair into a poofy, unbrushable, frizzy mess. The texture also left my hair straw like. For reference, I have a lot of fine, wavy hair that sometimes frizzes. My hair is also generally soft.

Wonderful line that does what it says!
I’ve always loved Nexxus products and this line did not disappoint. I used the matching shampoo first and then the conditioner and my hair was so smooth and manageable. The scent is nice and not overly scented so you don’t smell it all day long. Great job Nexxus! My hair was smooth and humidity resistant which is hard to find where I live in Florida.

It left my hair worse than when I started. Does NOT condition and does NOT reduce frizz. It makes your hair need another conditioner or serum just to get a comb through it. It also has a weird smell. Don’t waste your money.

Don't do it!!!!
This conditioner did not make my hair soft or manageable, it was very thick and when rinsed out, my hair felt so dry. I thought maybe I had missed a product or something that I was supposed to add to my hair after, and read the bottle and literally it just says to apply on your hair and rinse out, recommends using the matching shampoo before this conditioner, which I did. I didn’t like the shampoo either. Bad combo, bad shampoo and conditioner. Not worth the money.

Migraine inducing "fragrance." Strong and persists all day. Too greasy as well, this is inaccurately named. Quite pricey for an unusable product. The smell is still making me nauseous after attempting to wash it out.
