Amazing Moisture

Weightless Conditioner
I purchased this, along with the shampoo because I wanted to try their products. I figured this weightless line would be a good place to start because I didn't have anything else like it. While this conditioner works alright, I didn't feel that it was as effective on my wavy/curly/prone to frizziness hair as other brands I've used. The ultimate test for me is how well a shampoo and conditioner work when I use them, then let my hair dry on it's own, without adding any additional product. This one didn't pass the test. While my hair felt soft, and smelled nice, it still frizzed up once it was dry. On the plus side, it's made without harsh ingredients and is both cruelty-free and vegan friendly.

No need for leave in conditioner!
This shampoo works nicely and a little does go a long way (says the bottle). I used the leave in conditioner which I loved, but i feel that I don't need it with this conditioner. I have varying waves/curls, from 2a to 2c! I removed a star because it doesn feel a little weighed down on day 2. It may just take revamping my routine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this product twice now and I’ve noticed a big difference in detangling my hair in the shower. It gives my hair the perfect amount of slip which helps with getting rid of tangles and reducing breakage. It has no strong scent which I love as I’m not a fan of fruity or sweet scents in hair products. Ultimately I will be repurchasing when it’s finished which won’t be for a while as it’s a big product.

It has a lovely smell and when I applied it it was great at getting through my hair and detangling my curls. It didn’t feel heavy or leave any residue in my scalp so that was good however my hair still had a bit of frizz after using.

I’ve been using the Cantu Weightless Smoothing Conditioner for a couple of weeks now and I’m impressed. It’s very light compared to some of Cantu’s richer formulas, so it doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave a greasy feel. My hair feels soft and smooth after rinsing, and it’s much easier to detangle. The scent is pleasant but not overpowering.

When I have my wash days for my hair, I use the pair of shampoo and conditioner so use the shampoo first and then follow up with this conditioner. I feel like this conditioner leaves my hair feeling super soft at the end of my shower and it gives it some of the moisture it likes. I like how it does not make my hair feel heavy oily greasy. It doesn’t dry out my scalp which I love. My hair is damaged, but I can see my waves coming back in. I can’t wait to have the nice beachy waves I used to have.
