Description

The brilliantly durable and rechargeable NiteHowl LED Safety Necklace by Nite Ize is made with flexible polymer that's illuminated by bright LEDs and can be recharged for hours of nighttime fun and safety. With Disc-O Select, this NiteHowl makes identifying multiple dogs easy with the ability to choose from one of three selectable colors (red, green, blue), plus a unique Disc-O mode that you'll have to see to believe. By illuminating the polymer with multiple colors at the same time, Disc-O mode creates a flowing color-blending pattern that's as fun as it is functional.

To use the NiteHowl, simply trim the flexible polymer to a custom fit, give the button on the durable, weather resistant housing a quick press, and the entire collar lights up a full 360 degrees, making your dog clearly visible from all angles.

Q: can this be put on and taken off easily? I don't want to keep it on my dog all of the time.

You can cut the polymer tubing to whatever length you want so you can slide it over the dog's head or connect/disconnect via the connection at the LED module.     Theory > Reality

    I bought this about a month ago from a third-party retailer. The idea is nice and there are some useful parts of the design (e.g. the extra lock on the carabiner), but the fabric loop that is near the phone end is weak and snapped. Fortunately, I didn’t lose my phone because of where I was at the time, but it defeats the purpose of the whole product. Regardless of the affordable price point, I expected a more lasting experience.

    Works, could use improvement

    Fudamentally, the Hitch does what it is supposed to do — help you tether your phone while in the great outdoors. My main use is while rock climbing, and some improvements would be needed to use the Hitch by itself. The cord doesn’t extend enough to raise the phone to my face to take photos if the phone is tethered to a gear loop on my harness or a belt loop on my pants. In fact, extending with a one-foot sling isn’t quite enough. More importantly, it’s impossible to attach the Hitch directly to the harness or belt loop. The carabiner is way too small and stiff — too stiff even to attach to the loop the Hitch adds to the phone. A bigger carabiner, please. And more loops on the cord! Still, the Hitch, with modifications, does allow me to take photos without worrying my phone will fall off the cliff. It mostly does what I intended. Hence 4/5.

    Absolutely fabulous, then it fell off

    This necklace was so fabulous! It was bright and it illuminated beautifully. I could see her clearly in the woods, through the window, from inside the warm house. Then it fell off and I couldn’t find it in the snow. I had only used it for about three months. So disappointed! It does not come with a charger.

    Great but the phone anchor broke down

    I bought it and I’ve been really happy. A part the anchor does skews the case but I can live with that. Now the fabric on the anchor broke, I can’t seem to find a replacement bit. Can you help? Anyway for a more solid one? I’m about to go 5 months in the mountains and don’t want to lose my phone.

    Don’t waste your money

    Hitch® Phone Anchor + Tether SKU: HPAT-01-R7 This has been one of the worst purchases I’ve made. It is extremely difficult to put on and take off, and the design hurts my fingers every time I try to use it. It’s frustrating, uncomfortable, and honestly not worth the hassle at all. I really regret buying it and would not recommend it. Save your money and look for something easier and more user friendly.

    great concept

    this is our 2nd one of these. The first failed after many years of hard use by our golden retriever. I'm excited to replace it with an exact copy. love that it changes colors and love that it's rechargeable

    Great for keeping your phone attached to you.

    The system works great. The tag is thin enough that it does not get in the way of a charging cord and strong enough to trust it while flyfishing in the middle of a river.

    Great for night walks!

    Just what I needed

    I use this to reduce the risk of my phone dropping (for example when traveling to see a waterfall, don’t want to drop it over the railing!) and also against pickpocketing. Works excellently

    Cool Lighting/Poor Attchment

    Can't get it to charge

    I bought this a couple of weeks ago and haven't been able to find a single cord that can charge it without me having to hold it in place.

    Couldn't figure out how to put it on phone case

    I couldn't figure out how to attach it to my phone case. I assume there was a sticky side to attach it, but it wasn't obvious on how to get to this. I will be returning this item to the store I bought it from
