Nite Ize SpotLit Rechargeable Carabiner Light Disc-O Dog Collar

I’ve had a couple of these items for 2 dogs living on a ranch and they keep randomly quitting on me. Everything works great except instead of red to green charge, it’s a rapidly pulsing yellow indicating an error.

I bought it for my boy pup and tried the disco mode love it only thing u had to buy the cord separate to it should be together other then that nice and bright at night

I loved the product when it worked. But unfortunately it no longer holds a charge and doesn't stay on without being directly connected to a power source.

Just where does one acquire the Micro USB cable needed to recharge the rechargable battery? It woud be nice if this information was provided up front! What is the product ID? What am I looking for? Where do I look for this cable? Do you also sell it as a accessory for the SpotLit?

I purchased one almost a year ago, and it’s wonderful! I turn it on for every evening and bedtime outing. It lasts about 3 days on one charge, and it’s easy to recharge. I haven’t had any issues with the charging aspect, unlike some reviewers. We have a large amount of yard fenced in, so it gives me peace of mind to be able to find him in the dark (and make sure he’s behaving!). It’s so bright and visible. I love this product so much, I bought another one for our newest pet. We’ve had it on her for a couple months now, and it works great. I love that I can make her a different color than his, so I can see who is who in the farthest, darkest parts of the yard! I recommend it to all my pet friends.

I havent had this even a year and never charged it - i thought it needed batteries until i took off the cover and noticed the charging port- it turns red for about 30 seconds and stops charging Super disappointed since only got a few mths usage

Hello I wanted to write a review about your amazing customer service. I emailed regarding the Spotlit clip for my dogs. I was having issues with the clips breaking after only being used a couple of times. I got an email reply from Zach and he asked if I still had the receipts which I did. He also said if I didn't have the receipt he could replace one as a one time exception that falls under their worry free guarantee. I found the receipts and emailed him the copies. He replaced my clips for me and I got them in the mail really quick, thank you so much. I just wanted to share my experience and a big shout out to Zach.

This product is absolute junk! I purchased one and it worked for a few weeks - then nothing. I bought another one - worked about 2 days. I contacted the company and they sent me 2 of the rechargable type. Guess what? They worked for a few days and then - quit! I give up! Should have read the reviews prior to purchase - many have had the same experience with this product!

The spotlight seemed to be a great little light, it's bright, easy to use, convenient, and changes colors. So, what else could a customer ask for? How about a product lasts more than 11 months, and can survive being charged more than a handful of times? The spotlight was always clipped to the front of my dogs harness even when it wasn't being used. The spotlight was never submerged in water, or any other hazzared one might think could kill an led light. I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed. So, if you decide to pull the trigger and purchase a spotlight my advice is to wrap it in bubble wrap, and keep that receipt close.

Not working anymore, I might have had it for five months before it quit. Took me a while to find the receipt because I moved, but hopefully I will be able to get a replacement and see how that goes. Same issue as most, will work on charge but not when it is taken off the USB cord, it does a yellow/green flash when charging and will let me use different colors only while charging.

I have had this about 30 days. One end of the clasp comes loose and the light falls off my dog’s collar every time we go for a walk. I have put the end of the clasp back in the hole many times, but it keeps popping out. At least it is easy to find in the grass.

I have so many lights and collars for my dogs but this light is the easiest to use and least obtrusive. It's nice and bright and visible in the yard or the woods in the dark. I have 2 issues - somehow the light came off twice, it was recovered once, lost the other. Also we have lost a cover of one of the lights...any suggestions to keep these more secure will be welcomed! Would definitely be a 5 star item if the light hadn't come off or lost the cover!

I bought this item 5-6 months ago and have only been able to use it one time. I charge it but as soon as I take it off the charger, it stops working. Also can't figure out how to turn it off. It flashes and lights up the whole time it's charging and I can change the light color and pattern but can't get it to turn off or come on when I actually need it to. Disappointed.

The light worked perfectly for a few months , then wouldn't turn on after charging. For the price, I had hope for a longer usage life.

This light is perfect, I was able to adjust the light types during our evening walk. More of a preference, but the advantage of the light and being able to see where we were walking was perfect.

First off, I am not one to leave reviews on anything generally ever, but as what appesrs to be the most widely sold and used dog collar light with little alternatives I have gone through multiple variations of size, rechargeable/non rechargeable, replaced batteries in the non rechargeable ones, etc. Unfortunately it feels like they own the market in this category. I can say with validity and multiples experiences every single one of these is junk. If your dog is moderately active even, do not buy one of these, seriously. Every single one has crapped out on me or stopped functioning reliably within three weeks max. The worst example being one of the larger and more robust rechargeable models that costs $30 losing functionality within a week and half. No joke. I think if I do the math I've probably spent at least $130 on collar lights through the past 8-12 months. Dies in the cold, will work when on the charger but not on the collar. The list goes on. If you own a Maltese or some small dog that doesn't do anything then maybe this light is for you. I feel so stupid for trying all the variations of this light expecting a different result. Please save yourself the money that I did and don't buy anything from this brand. Trash.

I've had the same issue as many reported - it was working fine until about the 4th time I recharged it. Now it only works if it's plugged in - seems to be unstable and break easily. When I try to recharge it now, it is orange for a few seconds and then starts blinking in a yellow-green shade. Doesn't seem to hold a charge anymore despite it working when it's plugged in and turned on. Already replaced in once but likely won't purchase again since it's not durable enough with my dog's standard play.

Still works great after ~4 years! I’m surprised to see the mediocre reviews. We have no problems with recharging and it still lasts several hours after recharging.

I purchased this product back in 09/22 and now it no longer works. If this is the life expectancy for the product it should say so. I purchased the rechargeable light, because I thought it might last longer than the battery operated one’s. It did work for 7 months, so it wasn’t a total bust. Will not be purchasing another one. :(

This is the best thing ever! Originally we bought this so we could more easily see our dog when we were going camping but now we use it every day. It lights up the sidewalk around our dog on walks, making it easier to see where we are walking and it makes us more visible to cars. I love that it is rechargeable and just needs to be plugged in. We always have people commenting on it or asking about it when we are out. Love the multi colors.
