Nite Ize Nite Dog Rechargeable LED Dog Leash - Blue/Blue

This leash worked great for a few months and then the rubber charging port cover started to fall apart and the light started to be dimmer, the leash started to fray after only a few months

this is a great leash but it does loose its charge after two days weather used or not

super bright leash would recommend for anyone with a dog

I bought the rechargeable leash about one year ago. It's not nearly as bright as it was and it is brighter in some spots than others. Would NOT recommend this product until they fix the issues

We loved this leash for a few months, but within a couple months, one of the fiber optic tubes broke inside the frame that provides the light, and significantly reduced its functionality. We have continued to use it, but it’s disappointing, as the leash was not inexpensive.

I love this leash. The blue is very visible but easy on the eyes. However, if you are walking where you need superior visibility, I recommend the yellow color. I walk on sidewalks where the only light is from nearby houses (no street lights).

I have one of these collars for each of my dogs—absolutely love them!!! I can actually see my black lab for first time as I walk her at night! My neighbors are interested in them as well! I set the collars to flash and everyone who sees them for first time comment on how visible they make the dogs. Thank you for such a great product!!! Also wonderful that they are plug in rechargeable—no batteries😁😁😁

This leash/collar has worked well for my evening walks with my dog. I definitely feel safer knowing that my dog is more visible with the lighted leash and color. I would recommend this product to anyone who takes walks, runs, etc in the evenings.

We have 2 of these leashes in yellow/green. we love that they are so bright and easily rechargable with any Google/Android/Samsung/Amazon/Philips/USB chargers. Neighbors always comment that they cannot miss us during night walks. We have had one for about 2 years and it is still working great! The second leash after one year only partially lit up, but Nite Ize sent us a replacement right away! They are definitely the best customer service we have dealt with in years. Highly recommend.

I’m disappointed that this leash didn’t come with the cable to recharge it. Now I have to buy one separately.

We look after a neighbors dog, and used this leash less than a dozen times. It was never mishandled or beaten up, and it now barely lights up and only at the top and bottom

We loved this leash at night when it worked. Unfortunately the rechargeable battery is fickle. The first leash only turned on while plugged in...defeats the purpose. They send a replacement with instructions not to leave plugged in too long. This leash worked great until the light started separating from the leash and curling up within a couple months of use Most comfortable handle of any leash we have tried. Sturdy product too except for the light and battery

Y’all remember that too cool for school feeling when you got your first car are first kiss…well this is up there with that!!! Everyone and I mean everyone just thinks it is the coolest and where did you get it!! So I have a light hound hoodie that I made just so I can vanna white to everyone!!! What a practical yet ergonomic genius of a product. What a fun moment to those who got this patent good job y’all!!! I think I’ll purchase more now thanks again biyeeee…for those with dogs with long hair I found a trick when putting on harness have them lie down with arms out front and not only does it give you more play in the snapping part of it which allows fingers and other be in betweeen the hair and skin so nothing ppinches and even will allow you to bring snappers to side of your best friend for ideal optical purposes!!!

I bought the leash in August and had been very happy with it from the start, then after 6 weeks, the battery started to have a much shorter charge. Not long after the battery reduced in charge the LEDs became less brilliant until finally the strips no longer light up, it just lights at the ends. I only used the leash or night walks so the wear and tear was limited, I would have expected a much longer life span for the leash considering the price.

Great products I love this it really helps because we are pitch black and have some people who don't follow the speed limit or care if you are out so having this notifies them gives us and them plenty of time to react to us being outside walking around. It's been a life saver and the price is definitely worth it because it is rechargeable so you don't have to replace batteries or throw it away and get a new one constantly.

I love this. We walk a jet black dog in the dark every night. This provides visibility to both the animal and the person.

Could not get the leash to charge. It would fully illuminate while plugged into a charging cable, but even after 12 hours of being plugged in it would not illuminate when disconnected from the wall outlet. Would also prefer to have a leash that is 6 ft long instead of just 4 ft. Positive aspects are that it seems sturdy and is comfortable to hold....hence the 2 stars instead of 1. Hopefully a replacement leash (if provided) will work as advertised, but initial impression is poor.

I got this for my GF who walks her dog at night that isn’t well light. This has made a tremendous difference, she now feels safe and comfortable she won’t get hit by a vehicle.

I bought the leash and collar for my dog and it worked great for the first few weeks and was super bright! However after a few weeks the lights stopped working and the LED strips started to pop out. I even emailed the company to get a replacement and the exact same thing happened. Works great for a bit but does not last long.
