The cookie maker is cheap plastic. It barely lasted for one batch of cookies before the rachet quit advancing when you pressed the handle.

Broke on second use
It broke on the second batch of cookies. The mechanism that pushed the dough out when the trigger was pressed broke and would no longer extrude the dough.

Very flimsy.
I didn’t actually get to use this because it broke immediately when I put the dough in. I’ll be upgrading to a higher-quality version. I was disappointed because Nordic Ware normally makes great products.
