I logged in not because I bought or used this spritz maker. How do such diverse comments for the same spritz maker? I make spritz cookies every holiday and wanted to try this maker but it is confusing. Would someone clarify this for me? Thank You

A terrible disappointment. My Spritz cookies were thin or the dough wouldn’t press through to the pan. The handle was flimsy. A waste of money and a waste of a cookie recipe. I wish I could get a refund.

I received this last year for Christmas but too late to use it. I opened it for the first time this morning. I noticed a soft rattle sound but didn’t think anything about it. After washing, drying, filling with dough all according to directions, I was disappointed to find that the plunger wasn’t engaging and didn’t move at all. Needless to say, no spritz cookies with a very disappointed grandson and a huge waste of ingredients.

I just finished making spritz cookies in my new Nordic Ware press. I chilled the pans and dough. The cookies would not ‘let go’ from the press. I rechilled again. Same thing happened. I managed to make a few that looked good but most were a mess. Also this is not my first time making these cookies. Very disappointed.

The cookie maker is cheap plastic. It barely lasted for one batch of cookies before the rachet quit advancing when you pressed the handle.

I really wanted to love this, having made spritz cookies many dozens of times years ago- but - maybe it’s the plastics, I don’t know. Followed directions for the cookies, set up the spritzer to the letter. Works great with no dough. Works hardly at all with it! One click then it will stop ratcheting - each time. Took 60 minutes of frustration and retries to make half… hopefully it’s not too late to return it.

Broke on second use

It broke on the second batch of cookies. The mechanism that pushed the dough out when the trigger was pressed broke and would no longer extrude the dough.

Very flimsy.

I didn’t actually get to use this because it broke immediately when I put the dough in. I’ll be upgrading to a higher-quality version. I was disappointed because Nordic Ware normally makes great products.
