    Works like magic

    I loved the macro camera quality it has it's extremely rugged I having being using it to remove pictures in the intertidal region one flaw which I have noticed is that with time the zone in and zoom buttom gets stuck with time I have been also dipping it in fresh water after it comes in contact with seawater rather than that it works perfectly fine it's a must recommend product

    Upgrade to a previous model and happy for the TG-7

    I bought this as an upgrade to a previous older model I have and have enjoyed using this on all sorts of get away trips. The reason I have the camera is for all sorts of general types of photography including hiking in rough areas and underwater shooting. This particular camera has proven to be the best of all the cameras for the type of photography I like to do. Very happy with this one.

    Not an easy camera to take quick pics.

    Windows are NOT self evident and referencing the owner's manual is work to sift through on line. Definitely thought it would be more user friendly, or would not have purchased.....

    High quality diving companion

    I bought this primarily with underwater photography in mind. I also bought the underwater housing for it. I previously had an underwater camera that failed while snorkelling in the Galpagos Islands. The OM System underwater housing is insurance against failure. I have not used the camera yet, but judging from high quality build, I expect the camera will perform well.

    Good GPS & Overall Weather Resistant Camera

    Just starting, but good all around camera and I enjoy the weather resistance. The great thing for me is the GPS logging system. Great to add to finished hikes at the correct location. Had to buy the telephoto attachment, but did not enjoy buying the lens mount at too high of a cost (didn't want to buy the knock-offs). Lots of features I haven't used yet. But so far, so good.

    I picked up the TG-7 because I wanted something smaller than my Lumix that could take a little abuse. I've had the TG-7 for a couple of weeks now and it has definitely met that expectation! My only complaint is that there isn't as much zoom as I would expect in a camera at this price. On the plus side, I'm just starting to learn about it's macro capabilities and they are really impressive! The TG-7 isn't a replacement for your all rounder, but it is a good option when you want to be able to take a decent camera out on a hike or in a storm.

    Go Anywhere, Capture Anything

    I've had this camera for a year now and I highly recommend it. During the past year, I was lucky enough to take it to Iceland, Germany, Australia, Austria and South Korea, tested it in all sorts of weather, took it underwater, take snapshots of everyday life in Europe and submerge it under glacier melted icewater. This thing delivered amazingly. The images and memories I was able to capture are amazing and beautiful. I don't know of any other device that captures raw images, does macro, handles anything mother nature throws at you and capture amazing images. If you're into watches, you'll know of what a GADA watch (Go Anywhere Do Anything) means. This Camera is, what I like to call, a GACA (Go Anywhere, Capture Anything). Om Systems staff have been supportive and nice whenever I called for help and thats always a big plus in my books. If you ask me and you're on the fence, I recommend strongly grabbing one.

    I bought this camera because I wanted to learn how to take snowflake pictures and for underwater photos. I haven't taken either one yet because I just bout this less than a month ago lol. I like the added light attachment for macro though, pretty cool. I love my other olympus so I need more practice

    Like earlier models, this is an excellent camera

    I have owned a few Tough TG models and have been extremely impressed at their performance and durability. I use TGs in combination with my OMDEM1X. Obviously the OMDEM1X is a more complex camera, yet the TG is great for straightforward underwater, fun star trail images, and some macro work. My expectations are high, but reasonable, that this TG7 will be an excellent addition to my OM equipment.

    Very good at what it was originally designed for.

    I have very capable modern cameras, and I also use an older DSLR with a phenomenal lens. Each of my cameras is for a different shoot and this is where the TG-7 comes in. It takes a while to go over all the settings and understand what each of them does, but once that's under the belt, this is a capable point and shoot that's at home in water, rain, snow, and sun. I didn't buy this camera to use indoors, or for portraits, as it's just not designed for that niche, but the niche it was designed for is captured well. The resulting photos are very good, and I especially like the GPS function and log. The macros are exceptionally good and, as a camera you can just throw in your pocket, along with a more powerful device, you've got all bases covered. My FUJIFILM X-100VI is weather resistant, but certainly not to the extent this one is. So, I'll tote along the TG-7 and all bases are covered. My only gripe is that it's a 10Mp camera and in 2026 it ought to be have at least 16 to 20Mp. But, having said that, I know the limitations of print size and as I shoot in RAW I'm good with it.

    I was looking for a compact camera to carry around in place of my mirrorless or cell phone. The TG7 had great reviews most of them for underwater and Macro. My pictures aren't as great as I expected but from seeing what other users can achieve I am sure it is more of a user issue. This camera has alot built into it. I wish it had more shutter control but I am slowly figuring out the settings. I was never into macro but I think that is going to change with this camera. Also I would like to get my grandson into photography and I think the TG7 will be great for that when he is ready.

    It's a classy little camera and feels solid in the hand. It appears to be high-quality construction with a lot of cool features. I owned a couple of compact Olympus digital cameras back in the early 2000's, and I was looking forward to using a much more modern model. I wanted it as an alternative to my somewhat bulkly Canon SLR. I spent the first couple of days with my TG-7 trying to photograph activities in an indoor venue. The lighting was average, not dim nor super bright. I had a lot of trouble getting clear photographs of people from varying distances. I tried everything I could think of in an effort to get well-focused and unblurred images, but pretty much every photo was unusable. I really wanted to like this camera, but for indoor people photography, I'm afraid I cannot recommend it. I ended up returning it.

    The toughest compact around

    The TG-7 is less a camera and more a permission slip: to wade in, dunk it, drop it, and keep shooting. As a rugged travel or family camand especially as a pocket macro labit's unbeatable for the money. If you're hoping for a sensor leap over the TG-6, it's not that; if you want a go-anywhere, no-worry shooter with brilliant close-ups, it's the one to get.

    Return Process Not Geared For Shoppers

    I purchased a camera from Target online and attempted to return it in-store, but was told it had to be returned online. When I tried to process the return online, I was just past the 30-day window. I reached out by phone and email but was repeatedly denied, even though online support told me to go back to the store and ask them to accept the return. This has been going on for weeks. I chose to buy through Target instead of directly from the manufacturer, thinking I’d receive better customer support if any issues came up. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing, and I won’t be shopping with Target again.

    Great dive camera!

    Tg-7 Review
