Description
OneTouch Verio Level 3 Control Solution is an in vitro diagnostic control designed for use with the OneTouch Verio family of blood glucose meters and OneTouch Verio test strips. It contains a known amount of glucose that reacts with the test strip, allowing you to check that the meter and strips are working together properly and that the testing procedure is performing correctly. OneTouch recommends control solution testing when opening a new vial of test strips, when you suspect a meter or strip issue, after repeated unexpected results, or after a meter is dropped or damaged. Compare the control result with the range printed on your test strip vial. Follow the owner's booklet for testing steps, storage, expiration, and discard requirements. Do not ingest the control solution or apply it to skin or eyes.
