[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Quoizel Outdoor wall lantern is modern and sleek, it’s a very cool looking light with texture as you get up close. The light is not super bright so i think its best suited for exterior garage door lighting, I think they would look really cool on a garage .My husband is the one who installed this light and he had this to say: Review for outdoor light. 1. Not made for traditional vinyl siding as it leaves the back open for water. 2. Paint comes off exterior screws too easy. 3. There shouldn’t be an external green grounding screw as it’s not aesthetically pleasing.

Included in the box is the required hardware for mounting on an exterior wall. Just be sure that the existing electrical junction box is capable of supporting the weight of the fixture (about 10 pounds). It appears to be well constructed and capable of enduring many years of temperate weather conditions. The light output is subtle and warm, comparable to a 40 watt incandescent light.

Instructions stated to hang vertically i chose to hang horizontally I to accent my picture which was a good choice. The directions stated something about a green wire there was no green wire luckily knew about electrical so knew without directions how to hang it up.

It is a very bright LED light. The light is easy to install and comes with instructions and Warrenty information. It’s priced perfect for size, durability and quality.

The installation was pretty simple because I was literally replacing a sconce that was already wired and installed. After cutting the power and taking down the existing sconce, installation was a breeze. The black onyx paint has a gritty texture that is supposed to look like concrete. I liked that the lantern had an LED light, but it definitely is more of a decorative lamp than one that would light a large area. We already have a lighting system that shines on the house, so it was a nice compliment. All in all, very pleased with the product.
