Yummy chili

They are chiles that are fire roasted and placed in a can. I put them in a big pot of chili so it was very convenient to drain and dump a can instead of washing, chopping, and fire roasting the peppers myself.

Firm and mild as advertised

I enjoyed the firmness of these chiles, but I think I'll get a spicier version next time. And you can use the juice for a gazpacho soup. No need to waste or toss it. The picture I added is what was leftover after making enchiladas. I like the authentic fire roasted flavor (the blackened parts are from the fire roasting), and there was a freshness to the chiles that I was pleasantly surprised by. Did not taste canned. It's a shame Target doesn't offer a Market Pantry version (for shipping; I think they're still offered in stores), though.
