Q: Are there any seeds in this sauce? Usually chilis and jalapeños contain seeds, which I can't eat, but this sauce says "purée" so I am hoping there aren't any seeds. TIA!

Creamy Chicken and Chile Enchiladas are great!
This sauce makes baked enchiladas wonderful. Just followed the instructions on the can except I used ground turkey in place of the chicken because it is what I had on hand.

Remember in The Office when Michael is so disgusted that Toby is back in the office? This was my reaction to the "new recipe" old El paso green chili sauce. To be clear, this is not what I ordered, but what I got in a pick up order. I ordered the 5 star original recipe. Why old El paso? This is truly disgusting. Stop production of this horrendousness stat. Do not fix what is not broken. Stop.

new recipe, Mild. love love love
I bought a can of Mild Green Chili Enchilada Sauce this week and was prepared to dilute it with something, as I always have to do because it is still too spicey for me (I'm a wimp and I have GERD) I tasted it out of the can to see just how hot it was gonna be and low and behold it was just barely spicey hot, actually it was MILD like the label said. I was beyond thrilled I have to say. I have had to make my own red enchilada sauce because I can't find anything mild enough. I never do reviews, but I was sooooooooooo thankful I just had to let someone know. It's the little things in the kitchen that can really make a difference. Thank you Old El Paso
