I’ll admit, I’m a WUSS when it comes to spice my foods and I’m not one to grab for the hot sauce or order any type of spicy cuisine but these had some heat to them! Even mild was a lot in my pot of chili. My entire family, those who don’t mind heat, were struggling to eat dinner. We had to had half and half and sour cream to tone it down. This was not mild unless it was a QC issue. If you like to ramp things up with your meals, knock yourself out, but it was too much for me. Price point is good, though!

This is a small can of diced, mushy jalapeños that don't look or taste like they've been fire-roasted. Heat level is medium. Overall, disappointing. I would recommmend buying a larger can of whole jalapeños instead.

Too many peels.
These chiles aren't hot. The flavor is similar to other canned chiles. The worst of it is that they are full of tiny, rolled up chile peels. For me, that's like running into tiny bones in fish. You will get some peel in chile, canned or frozen, but this is more than average.
