Don’t do it. I fell in love with this and it should have worked perfectly for my space but it’s poorly made-screws didn’t align and the bench couldn’t be assembled completely so I needed to return/exchange it (other reviews mentioned this but I took a chance anyway). The return has been a disaster. The bench went up $30 after I purchased and customer service told me I needed to return it by mail if I wanted the price to be the same since I purchased it online to begin with. Otherwise if I returned it to the store I’d have to do a full return and then repurchase it and the higher price. So I took the time to disassemble and repackage it only to have trouble with printing the return label… which required another 10-15 phone call to the 800. They sent me a link that actually worked and I drove 40m to the closest UPS store for the return. It’s now been a week and the app shows neither the receipt of the return OR the shipping of my replacement. Called the 800# again (another 10m of my life) only to be told bench was still in transit and that it takes 10 days once received at their facility before the return is verified and the replacement is shipped. I started this return over a month and between faulty labels, transit and processing time and multiple phone calls to Target I feel like I should be paid for this bench instead of the other way around. I don’t even know when I’ll get the replacement (although the app tells me it should be delivered March 5- which was a week ago). Highly regret my selection and will never return things via their online system again. Truly disappointed.

Recieved this bench approximately 1 month ago. I loved the bench when I set it up. The bench has started to crack. I ordered it as an online order. Due to the defect, the only option I was given by customer service was to return with a refund for an item. Sadly, the experience with customer service was subpar for an item I was very excited about since I have purchased other wood products from the Threshold brand before with no issue.

This is ok. Not worth full price. Top was difficult to attach- took a lot of effort/frustration. Overall assembly took longer than expected, and I would have reconsidered purchase if I’d known the degree of assembly needed.

I really like this storage bench. The reason I gave 3 stars is because some of the holes didn’t line up on the top of bench where you have to screw hardware into it. We had to bend some of the hardware to make it fit. The other reason is because I wish the back side had the same decorative accent as the front. We use it as a coffee table to it would’ve been nice to know the accents didn’t go around the whole thing.

i'm not great at putting furniture together but made it through - the quality is downright fantastic to come from target, this is one of their hidden gems especially for the price

Great color, easy to put together and love the storage inside. Great for extra books, games or grow blankets but I wouldn’t pay full price for this item.

Quality made bench for a great price. The hinges are very strong and I really appreciate being able to open the lid and it stays open. Great feature for kids. Shoes fit inside and I imagine winter accessible would too. I like the color as well. This has been a well functioning piece for our family and helped control the clutter at the front door.

Surprised by how sturdy these are (especially for the price). Love the dark wood and extra storage. So far they’re great corner benches for our dining nook.

I've placed the bench at the foot of my queen sized bed as a seating area, and for storage. It doesn't have a cheap appearance, nicely made. Color is a dark brown, a little darker than I would have liked, but it's ok. Easy to assemble, two people are needed to attach the top, this took a little time and effort, but nothing major. Storage is nice for extra blankets etc. I'm pleased with my purchase.
