Description

Pastel Pencils by Derwent offer all the beauty of a pastel with the convenience and control of a pencil. The pencils are a medium pastel - slightly chalky and able to achieve fine points. They provide a soft powdery texture with a velvety smooth finish, ideal for mixing, blending, and achieving fine lines required for detailed pastel studies. Derwent Pastel Pencils are 8 mm. in diameter with a wide 5 mm. pastel core. Pastel pencils are packaged in an attractive tin for convenient storage and protection. Available in Pastel Pencil Sets of 12, 24, and 72.

My favorite pensils

My mom would buy me these pencils when I was a child as I was always very passionate about art and drawing. I've always loved drawing very detailed portraiture and animals. To this day they're still my all-time favorite pencils. I've tried many other brands but always come back to these. They're an amazing and versitile medium. I just wish they weren't as expensive (even though they're 100% worth the price).
