Start casting right after your second trimister
Not enough plaster for 36weeks belly cast. So when you are almost done with casting at the end you’ll realized that it’s not enough bec the mold is so flimsy and can easily break. It was nice to see your hard work done but disappointing when u know it might not work out. One more thing is that it’s super messy so be make sure you get help and better do it in the tub or shower room and cut all the strips ahead of time.

Messy but still great!
I loved doing this! I had my mom and grandma help me with it, because you will definitely need more hands. It made a huge mess (the drip cloth definitely helped a lot!) so be prepared for a huge mess haha. It came out great though and I’m happy we made this cute keepsake.

So fun to do!
This was a idea I had for my daughter in law while she was expecting. Her and her husband had a blast doing this.It was a cool surprise they enjoyed getting to do before the baby came.It was easy and fun.It turned out amazing. They have a friend who loves to paint so she is painting them a great scene on it. Such a cool idea.And something that they will have to remember their baby bump.
