Good for introduction to vowel phonics

The book comes with 10 very simple stories. The stories don't have too much of a plot but they are well done given language constraints created by focusing more on words with the given vowel sound and simple rhyming words. The 2 workbooks were really great for learning short vowel sounds. We did those workbooks and later that day, my kid read a few consonant-vowel-consonant words for the first time! This made something click.
