These aren’t Linzer cookies. They’re really hard crackers with a bit of filling. Wished I hadn’t bought them.

I remember when these Linzer cookies were coated with powdered sugar and they were somewhat soft to bite into. The actual cookie looks nothing like the packaging. The filling is hard and stale as the cookie. I purchased many packages and they were all this way throughout the past 2-3 years they been cheating the buyer with this garbage replacement. Pepperidge Farm is suffering from amnesia and cheaping out on quality. All the while the consumer is paying more for inferior product. For shame Pepperidge Farm.

The cookie part is flavorless and not a great texture either. The filling does not taste like raspberry so much but some chemically artificial raspberry flavor. Even the bite factor is not great, the cardboard cookie just cracks apart leaving you with a handful of broken cookie slightly held together by the red glue in the middle.

I'm usually a fan of Pepperidge farm cookies. These were in the holiday aisle so I only paid ~$3 for it, but my gosh, these were not a hit. The rasberry part was flavorful but the actual cookie part had the texture of cardboard. Would not recommend.

I swore these cookies were dusted with powdered (confectioners) sugar. I loved them in the past. Well, not anymore. I overpaid for two packages today and they taste terrible. Very bland and not sweet. Like cardboard. I Googled them thinking maybe I was wrong. Other retailers such as Vons and Amazon show the packaging with the sugar dusting. Another good product bites the dust!

They thought we wouldn't notice! We did immediately by appearance first then taste. Pepperidge Farm ruined the holiday favorite Limited Edition Linzer Cookies. These are absolute garbage. Nothing close to the original. Missing powdered confection sugar. Change in the cookie ingredients. Texture change. I'm never buying another bag of Pepperidge Farm cookies again. Vote with your dollar folks. I was wondering why so many were sitting on the shelf now I know why.

These were one of my favorite cookies to get for Christmas but they've changed. There's no longer powdered sugar on top (they changed the photo on the bag to reflect this) and the cookie part is different, though the raspberry does tatse the same so they at last didn't mess with that. Very sad that my holiday tradition of buying these cookies has come to an end.

The cookies are thinner, not as flavorful and do not have powedered sugar on them. Why do companies keep ruining their best products. Dont get me wrong. They are okay, but there is no question you are cutting corners. ps - do not respond with the "gee wiz, we're sad you didn't like it" nonsense. You will not do anyhting about it.

I have bought these every year but this year they are different. Very unhappy with my purchase. I was expecting a somewhat softer cookie with powdered sugar on top. Instead I get a pop tart cracker like cookie and no powder sugar. Please bring back the original cookie.

These cookies are hard, dry, and break really easily in the package. It was not a successful choice to share at the church Christmas activity. If you do buy it, put the cookies in an airtight container with 1-2 pieces of sandwich bread. The cookies will absorb the moisture of the bread after a day or two, and you can throw out the bread and have softer cookies. But don’t have high expectations for gift giving presentation and flavor.
