Royal Dansk Danish Butter Holiday Cookies - 12oz

I’m still debating on whether I’ll keep these or return them. I planned to look for them at Target as I was craving them out of the blue. I don’t think I’ve purchased for a couple years at least so I was really shocked to see they had gotten so expensive. I’m not sure what size things I purchased in the past but remember them being $2 to $3. Anyway decided they must have went up due to inflation or possibly a larger package at Target. I was curious later when I got home and started looking on line to see how much they were at other stores and found options for this size tin for $3.99. So now I’m debating on purchasing elsewhere and returning these just in the principle of the matter. I understand I would spend more than $2 on gas to do this and it’s likely not worth my time, but it’s bugging me as I expect Target to have fair if not lower pricing than many other stores.

I remember always having my neighbor get this for us every Christmas season years ago. So I had to get some this year and it’s good. Soft and good.

These are not made in India lol. Check the label! Did a research and there’s so many brands of these cookies. Just look for the original ones that are made in Denmark.

Make sure the butter cookies you buy are NOT from India. A Quality Control investigation must be conducted.

Classic butter cookies. Don’t get the one’s not made in Denmark the generic ones are made in India and under questionable conditions. These are the good ones.

My toddler had a preference for one so of course once that was gone, she would not even touch the others. Although to me, the difference in taste, if there is any, is very subtle. Perfect accompaniment for your afternoon tea or just a snack for the kiddos.

When I was younger the tin never had the cookies, so I make sure there's cookies in them and anyone that wants some can get them. My personal favorite is the sugar sprinkled pretzel shaped cookie. The buttery goodness with the bit of extra sweetness sprinkled on top takes me back to my childhood. You cant get enough of Royal Dansk cookies.

I've enjoyed these products since I was a little girl and was happy to have found them! The only difference I found was the sugar crystals are now smaller and not cubed as I remember them being. Great tasting as always, tastes great with coffee or milk, very addicting and need to purchase more.

They were kinda of dry and you definitely need to make sure you have something to drink when eating them. They were kinda of bland but i'm sure that some people will really love them.
