Q: Can you use these for a regular coffee pot (ex..Mr Coffee)? If not I thought I saw on TV that there was a product that you can use. Please advise / recommend
submitted by FLmm - 7 years ago
A:Â Hi FLmm, the EZ-Cup paper filters are to be used with an EZ-Cup or an Eco-Fill. Our single serve products are compatible with Mr. Coffee BVMC-KG1, KG2, and KG6. As for regular coffee carafe pot coffee brewers, the EZ-Cup paper filters are not compatible. Please contact us at support@Perfectpod.com so we can better assist you.

A:Â These filters are very specific in size and shape for the Keurig original or the 2.0. They will not work in another machine like Mr. Coffee.
submitted byLarry - 7 years ago
A:Â No, these can only be used in a Keurig or a similar type coffee machine. They are too small for a Mr. Coffee - these are single cup filters.
submitted byArtworks - 7 years ago
A:Â Are these filters compatible with Keurig Select?

Q: I have used the paper filter with flap in the filter holder using "dunking donuts" loose coffee. Makes a weak cup of coffee. What am I doing wrong?
submitted by dorothy - 5 years ago
A:Â Dorothy - I had the same issue but after experimenting different things, I decided to buy whole beans of a stronger coffee and grind them down finer before brewing and I get a stronger, nicer cup of coffee. This works much better than trying to jam pack too much coffee into the filter and I don't get grounds in my cup even though I've ground it down pretty fine. You can still use your DD coffee just maybe grind it down a little more? The little home grinder is inexpensive too I got it at Target as well. If your goal is no K-Cup waste but still a great cup of coffee, this is a great way to do it.
submitted byMelissa - 3 years ago
A:Â Please try using about 2 tbsp of medium grind coffee grounds. Please do not over fill nor compress the grounds, coffee grounds do expand when it is wet thus needs room to correctly brew.
submitted byPerfect Pod Support - 5 years ago

A:Â I find that you have to really pack the paper I put 2 scoops of coffee in the filter then tap it down with the scoop holder it really fills the paper but the coffee is usally a good cup. I can also use it 2 times for 2 cups sometimes the brewer just has to go thur 2 times to get it right. If you like a little stronger cup use Starbucks or Keurig Green Mountain Brand.

Q: Can I use these paper filter with My K-cup Universal reusable coffee filter??
submitted by Barb - 1 year ago
A:Â Yes, the filters can be used with however since the Universal reusable coffee filter has a built in filter, some have noticed that it is slower to filter and can cause an overflow.

Q: I have a "generic" keurig by proctor silex that takes pods you can get at the store. want to use own coffee, but can't find one of the plastic re-useable pod that fits. can i use these on their own?
submitted by christine - 6 years ago
A:Â No you need a purple holder to put the paper filter in. Be careful not to buy the one with a metal screen it broke my older Keurig . You want one that says a 2.0 priced around $7 that has a spring bottom then you can use the paper filters with bag coffee.
submitted bySally Anne - 6 years ago
A:Â Hi Christine, The EZ-Cup paper filters are compatible with the EZ-Cup. The paper filters are to be used with an EZ-Cup to work correctly. If the paper filters are not used with an EZ-Cup, it may cause the coffee grounds leak out of the paper filter.

Q: I would like to order these but only use the kind with the paper lid . The package had a pic of a lid but all the other pics do not . Do they have a lid ?
submitted by Theresateach - 4 years ago
A:Â Hi Theresateach, Yes, the EZ-Cup Paper Filters 50ct. do come with paper lids.
I use these with a resizable K-Cup in my Keurig. I can grind fresh coffee at home instead of buying pods. While this does save money (and I have more coffee choices) - these filters are a lot more expensive than regular filters…..a standard coffee maker would be a better value all around.

Coffee filters to make great coffee.

What I liked is that these coffee filters are perfect for when you have a big can of coffee and have a Kegic type coffee maker and you have the filter holder device to put the coffee filter in and then some coffee from the big can or bag of coffee. Note some of the newer Kegic type coffee makers do not use these filters so check your coffee maker first before buying these filters.

Best Coffee Invention EVER

Started using these not long after buying my first Keurig, probably 10+ years ago! I fell in love instantly! From the easy use, just pop one into the reusable k cup & fill with your own FRESH coffee grinds, and put into Keurig to brew your cup of coffee. I am always repurchasing these before I run out. I don’t care for the actual k cups as they aren’t as fresh & is a lot of waste using so much plastic! If you haven’t tried these you are DEFINITELY missing out on your true cup of coffee! Buy now!
I bought these thinking I would like them and less mess of just the small container without the liner. I didn't care for it at all.

we buy a LOT of these paper filters. Target prices are the lowest and orders are filled very quickly. The filters SEEM to be overpriced, but they are the most environmentally friendly filters on the market, and they work great. The manufacturer has a patent so has a monopoly.

I definitely recomment the disposable paper filters with patented lid. Why add to the landfill with all those plastic k-pods. And I have not noticed any decrease in the coffee flavor.

Better Buy These!!

These surprised me! I put this in my kcup filter. It seemed very bulky. I loaded it with my Target Hazelnut coffee. I put the paper lid over it. Silly I thought. I closed the k up lid… or tried to. I put it in my machine. The machine lid did not really want to go down all the way. I kept saying this is going to be a mess but less coffee in my kcup would mean less flavor. The coffee looked fine. No mess . And that bulky paper holder kept every darn coffee granule in that cup. When I pulled it out and threw it away my kcup was completely clean and so was the lid!! Amazing to me!! Better buy these folks!!

Love them instead of using Keurig plastic cups. Makes me feel like I’m being less waist full. It’s also less expensive, since I can buy Starbucks or any coffee I like. Starbucks will grind the coffee if you buy it there.

My family has used these for years! I have an older Keurig (10+ years) and we like Bustelo, so these make it so much more cost effective. Also, you can customize the strength of your coffee and opposed to K-cups
