Q: Had hoped to replace my Cashmere 6x6 candle but out of stock. Target should include floral notes for each. How can anyone buy without this info? What does "cotton" smell like for instance?

A: Soft Cotton White is the color, not the scent.
submitted byKaren - 2 years agoA: it smells like laundered cotton that was washed in scentless detergent. it's very light/faint "clean" smell. It's perfect for me as i dont like overpowering or floral/spicy scents.

A: Hi Carol - While these pillars are designed to burn with minimal dripping, we do not claim they are dripless. We suggest to always use pillar and taper candles with an appropriate candle holder and follow the safety instructions on the bottom of label of the candle. Hope this helps! - Kate

It stinks. I knew it was scented but not how scented until I took the wrapper off. Smells like baby powder. Not what I was going for. Not sure I will be able to stand it if it smells even more when lit.

I have two of these candles in the 6x3 inch size. The soft cotton white color is perfect for decor, not yellow not too white. I don't intend to light these as they are pretty just as they are, with a slight texture. love these candles!

I have bought these white scented pillar candles at Target several times. I absolutely loved them before they changed the scent. The Jasmine Bouquet fragrance was the main reason I bought them. It was a delicate but sweet fragrance, just wonderful. I do not like the new scent called Soft Cotton at all. It is so bad that as much as I use the white pillar candles, I cannot buy them at Target now.
