years ago these flakey layers were the best. you could pull apart like 8-9 layers and they were crispy yet soft and it was delicious, the last 2 times i have done these biscuits they come out horrible. no flakey layers , not even a biscuit shape , it’s lopsided from the way it was packaged in the can. not sure why each one is a different size but it’s not good at all. don’t even waste your money. they look like they are leaning to the left and have no layers at all. never buying again.

Biscuits didn't cook right
I was surprised when I make the flaky layer biscuits they took over 30 minutes to cook and where flat and tasted terrible. Just bought them yesterday. Not the oven since the other 2 tubes I cooked after I threw these out were fine.

Too sweet
I don’t know what happened but I used to buy these biscuits and the last canister I bought they’re not the flaky kind just regular biscuits have they’re too sweet. Somehow they added more sugar to the ingredients. I won’t be buying them again.

Disappointed
Why change the recipe? I loved the original biscuits because they were the closest thing to home made. Now they have been changed to “more flakey” and they are greasy, flavorless, and pretty nasty.. So disappointing. If I wanted flakey, greasy biscuits I would have bought the flakey variety not the original.
