  • A: We use chickpea water in place of eggs in any recipe and you'd never know. 3 Tablespoons of chickpea water from a can is = 1 large egg. Typical can of Chickpeas yields a little more than 3 eggs worth

This resulted in a change of allergens for the 96oz Club Bisquick. However, the 40oz box did not go through any changes in the potential allergens. Since ingredients can sometimes change, we recommend referring directly to the packaging for the most accurate information.

    Dissappointed

    Bisquick is not the same as when I first found it in 1977. Totally different. I used to be able to bake a firm, crispy edged, biscuit that I could butter or slice to make a sandwich. Now it is more like a dry, sweet, light cake that refuses to be butters (just falls apart into crumbs) and is less of a traditional biscuit and more like a cake. Texture of dough is quite different. Not what I bought it for. Sad.

    No longer dairy free

    No longer diaryfree/vegan. What a disappointment that they changed a perfectly good product by adding buttermilk that was not necessary. Good reason to make my own biscuits

    It changed everything

    So disappointed with this product. My first issue is because it has changed it has changed all of my old recipes. Second issue is that the over all taste is different. Finally I have an issue with it containing milk as well, in the past I could use it because my son has a dairy allergy now I can’t.

    Poor quality

    You totally ruined this mix when you changed the ingredients. It now makes the worst biscuits that taste sweet and fall apart. I’ve been making chicken and dumplings with your mix for years but no longer. They just fall apart and no longer have the great taste. Some things should be left alone, and this product is one of them. I know this review will not make a bit of difference but as for me, I’m done with your product. I’ll go back to the old fashion way.

    New recipe is horrible!

    The new recipe is horrible. As a kid, my grandma would always make me biscuits with bisquick. My best friend even called her “the biscuit grandma”. I haven’t used bisquick in a couple years and as my grandma has now passed away I wanted to make biscuits for my kids like my grandma used to make for me. They came out horrible. Just like all the other reviews, flat, not fluffy and soft, dense and tasteless. It tasted like dense flour mixed with milk. My kids took one bite and spit them out. I had made them biscuits with bisquick in the past before the recipe was changed and they love them, so there’s definitely a difference and I will not be buying this ever again.

    OMG - I have used bisquick my whole life. Your recipe change almost k1lled my son with his pancakes today. He has a dairy allergy, bisquick was a safe food... your could kill someone who instinctively trusts your product. Never purchasing again.

    Why did you add dairy!!!

    Why would you feel the need to change the recipe after almost 100 years. You just cut out a huge population of people who can no longer use this do to adding dairy.

    I love Buttermilk back in the mix!!

    I love that they put Buttermilk back into the Bisquick and brought the old version back ( at least it seems that way) I have already noticed a huge difference in my pancakes and baked goods! I made my Banana nut bread with Bisquick and it was so fluffy and delicious! Everyone could made comments about the texture etc! So Kudos to the new Fluffier Bisquick with Buttermilk back in! Yay!

    Don’t buy the “new” Bisquick

    The new Bisquick is awful. The biscuits are not fluffy and crumble when butter or jelly is applied. I did not realize the mix had been changed. The pancakes are also dry and tasteless. I assume the new formula is less expensive to make, but revenue won’t increase when customers flee. This is my last box of Bisquick.

    We've used Bisquick for years in our dairy free family. Sadly some genius decided that instead of adding a buttermilk flavor, they should rewrite the original flavor to have dairy. Sad end to a long story for our family.

    Why would you put milk in something that has never had milk in it and put it in a small red ribbon that no one will notice. Im very glad I'm not highly allergic to it and am not in the hospital!!!

    Mix Recipe Change

    Bisquick has been a staple in my home for almost 30 years. My family uses it primarily for pancakes and sometimes for biscuits and sadly we’ve noticed a MAJOR change in their mix recently. It’s so incredibly grainy and dry, but even after learning you need to now add oil, it doesn’t have the same little unique “bite” that it used to. Early morning pancakes will never be the same as it’s the only mix we enjoyed. We probably won’t continue to purchase this product anymore. Sad day.

    Bring back the original Bisquick!

    The new formulation is terrible and there is nothing classic about your recipes using this new formulation. Customers have been begging you to bring back the original product. Until that happens, I will not be purchasing any Betty Crocker products as it seems clear that you really don’t really care about your customers and their concerns.
